Recently my 30 year old 20gal shop Air compressor motor died. It only had a 2hp oil less motor. It worked well for the using it on the weekends. However, when I retired and was using it almost everyday I realized it just couldn't provide the air that I needed to run my air tools as long as I needed without having to wait for it to build pressure. So, when it died it was a excuse to get a more powerful one. Being retired means I'm on a fixed income shoe string budget. So, I started looking for a replacement motor. I quickly found out that motors were expensive and almost as much as a whole new compressor. Then I started looking for portable compressors with a bigger motor than I was attempting to replace. I came across this compressor with the 3 1/2 HP motor with a price that I could afford. It arrived quickly with minimal exterior damage ( the plastic motor shroud was broken at the mounting bolts). After filling it with oil and turning it on it got to pressure rather quickly. However, it did not maintain pressure when left overnight. I found a air leak around the connection around the pipe that goes from the hose connections and the tank. I connected this compressor to my old compressor tank. This gives me a total of 30gal of air. The 3 1/2hp motor fills up the tanks quickly. And, it keeps up with my air needs and fits within my budget.

works so far(8months or so). Kind of loud , but they all are to some point. The plastic handle broke rather quickly , but so far that's the only problem.Would go a long way to make that handle outta' some cheap metal , just sayin'.

Has a welded on handle for easy wheeling. Compact but a bit longer than our old one. Noise is typical for a compressor. Also had exact placement screws to place old compressors handle/bracket.(We used to place the curled up hose)Easy set up. Surprisingly there was a broken piece of plastic, (at screw of cover for motor ) but it was easily fixed with a washer and would’ve been fine to just leave the little broken piece off. I’m sure the company would’ve received and sent a new one but we just fixed. It came in a box with Styrofoam padding, so I don’t know how it got broken (weird)

Used it 2 months it worked every time until this last time. Worked good day before yesterday morning then will not come on that evening. Will not run now when I really need it. Support is useless so I paid over $200 for air for approximately a month and a half and now no help fixing it. Really REALLY UPSET WITH THIS.9

The aircompressor looked great but was broken on delivery, the pressure regulator was broken off theregulator manifold.

UPDATE: Despite the problems listed below I bumped up the rating because the company was able to ship me out replacements for the broken parts. ( I didn’t even ask for the broken cover) but once I installed the new parts the compressor works great. I don’t think it is loud comparably speaking and the quick tank fill is great. Would be 5 stars if they learned to pack better so things didn’t arrive broken.Original post: Well the item is broken upon arrival. From all the reviews I expected the plastic cover to be broken. However I did not expect that the pressure relief valve would not close or that the pressure shut off tube would blow air the whole time it is pumping up to the extent that it takes about 6 minutes to fill, which seams a long time for a 8.37cfm pump on a 6 gallon tank. My 25 gallon from harbor freight fills faster with a much smaller pump. Anyway I have contacted the seller to see if they can send me the replacement parts or if they want to do a full return. Will update whith response from them. Also, the unit was full of oil when I got it ( upside down, carriers fault I know) from shipping so it was covered in oil.

Other reviews state it has a plastic handle however when I got mine march 2025 it has 2 welded metal handles that are solid. So far this has been a good air compressor especially for the price

I have got two of these compressors this is a second one where the protective cover on top of the compressor was damaged One was damaged so severely I sent it back
