Leaves no lines on legs or ankles and is comfortable
This sock is very loose with absolutely no constriction at all. The grips on the bottom are very adequate to prevent slips and falls and the sock is stretchy without being binding. They do tend to run on the large size, but definitely help with lymphedema.

Sometimes too big but the best yet for my foot issues
I have ankles that sometimes swell and most all, even high quality crew or higher topped socks would cut off my circulation at the top band as my legs are heavy. These are plenty big, and never hurt or itch which is often a problem for me. The foot portion is also made bigger and my feet are wide, women's 10 super wide, but these are usually too big since my feet don't swell, so they should work if you have feet that swell or if you have a cast or brace. Sometimes they will twist around on my foot so the white grippers are on top but that's not a problem, esp. when I want to wear shoes as you don't want grippers underfoot. Sometimes the tops will slide down but then they just look like slouch socks & sometimes one will slip off my foot in bed from the bedcovers pushing them, but all in all they stay up better than most other high top socks I have had & I am thrilled with them. Also I usually hand wash in very hot water and they stand up well & dry quickly as the yarn is thick but the weave is stretchy weave is thick but stretchy. Also they tend to shed tiny fuzz bits but still they are the first socks I have found that I can always wear no matter how my body is acting. Last, the toe seam is on the outside so that the seam is smooth next to your skin, and that's a good thing, so don't think its a defect when you see it.

Great Socks!
Due to an accident, I had six titanium pins inserted into the bones of my left foot. Afterwards, I was fitted with a walking cast. I thought things would be okay once the cast came off, but such was not the case. My foot, ankle, and lower leg, up to the calf, still swell if I sit or stand for long periods of time, and my surgeon told me they would swell for some time to come. Bummer.I tried compression socks, many brands, but I couldn't begin to get them on. I don't know how anyone does. They seemed like dolls' socks to me. So, when I ran across these socks, I decided to give them a try. I have no bariatric problems, just the swelling from surgery. I really got tired of having to lie down and put my feet up during the day. I would take the opportunity to try to get some reading done, but would always fall asleep instead. So, time wasted. Sometimes, the swelling didn't even go down. These socks pretty much fixed the problem. I've been sitting for hours now, have only gotten up and walked around a few times, and I have only very minimal swelling in my foot.Unlike compression socks, these socks were so easy to get on. They just glide right on. Whereas I struggled with compression socks for an hour or more, and then couldn't get them on, these socks were on in about thirty seconds. They feel wonderful, too. They're fairly warm, with no seams to bind and hurt. And the non-slip bottoms are great. My only complaint is that they seem slightly too big! I would like a sock that is just a little smaller in fit because I'm a very petite person. (After my nightmare with compression socks, I can hardly believe I'm wishing for anything smaller.) Knee socks would also be comfortable for under slacks during cooler weather. (Yes, winter gets quite cool even in Southern California.) I will keep these socks, though, and I will definitely use them. They are comfy and warm, and as soon as my left foot is healed, I have to have the same surgery performed on my right foot. So, I'll be getting a lot of use out of them. I think I'll even be able to get these over the walking cast, if need be.After the accident and the trauma of the surgery, the circulation in my feet and ankles hasn't been the best. These socks seem to help with that problem as well. My feet feel warm, not cold. I needed something to help with circulation until I can get back to my afternoon walks and hikes and my bike riding, hopefully next year.Don't think your feet, ankles, or legs are too swollen to get these on. They aren't. These socks are very stretchy, and yet, somehow, they stay up. As I said, I've been wearing them for hours, and I haven't had to pull them up once. And, you can throw them in the washer and dryer. They do not shrink.All-in-all, I'm very happy with these socks. I recommend them highly.

Very wide
I ordered the super wide because the person has edema in his feet but these are REALLY wide and do not shrink at all when washed. They do have a grip strength of about a 7/10 though so are helpful that way and also are sort of thick so feel pretty good for the feet on hardwood floors.

Excellent product.
These socks are perfect for use over lymphodema wraps. They go on easily, stay up fine. The grippers on the bottom are just what is needed to prevent slipping, as the boot part of wraps slide dangerously on floors. These socks are equally awesome to wear over swollen feet when not wearing wraps. They are comfortable and durable, and do not bind, as many other socks have done. They wash and dry with no problems. Before discovering these socks I would have to cut the tops of regular socks to try making them comfortable, but that was never a satisfactory solution.I highly recommend this product not only for lymphodema use, but for anyone needing a comfortable sock to go over large legs for any reason. They are truly non binding, while easily stretching to conformto both feet and legs.

Best socks ever!
Tried multiple brands and either they didn’t fit right or were uncomfortable, but these are perfect. They aren’t tight and don’t pinch. I was worried the first time my order arrived… the material seemed rather thin & I thought for sure they wouldn’t last long but I was completely surprised by how durable they are. These are the only socks I’ve worn for years now.

Big enough, but they don't stay up
I was thrilled to find these socks that were actually big enough since I have very large calves. The problem is that they don't stay up. They are extremely soft, which is comfortable, but it also means they don't hug your leg closely enough to stay up--they are falling down after you've had them on just a few minutes, which is annoying.
