Second set. Great brakes
This is my second set of these. First set, I installed on my pocket bike. This set is going on my downhill bike. Great value, honestly. Just remember, the master cylinder and lever are plastic.

The bring the stoppies post-haste!
They are a bear to bleed if you goof up and let air in the system. *clears throat. Yes I dropped a line after snipping to shorten. But it wasn’t my fault the sun was in my eyes! I digress. They stop with the force of an elephant sliding down a ski slope. Chunk the one piece pads and get some MT7 2 pot pads for ease of service cause no one wants to unbolt a caliper just to remove a pad (I just got the caliper centered right dang it!). Seriously, get a quality bleed kit and save yourself the mistake of thinking these aren’t brutally powerful just cause you stink at bleeding brakes. Modulation is decent but you will have to “find it”. Women are like “omg they can’t even find one little button”…. And I’m getting side-tracked. Seriously for the money you’re hard pressed to find a better brake. Treat yo’ self!

Bad ass, Buy these, 6 month review!
So I’ve had these for about 6 months now, and they have honestly been fantastic. They have held up great and I get tons of compliments on them. IPros: the lever pull on these far exceeded my expectations for the price. They have a ton of power but make it really easy to regulate the pressure.Cons: Now the reason for the 4 star instead of 5. I found that the stock bass were lacking the bite I wanted, so I’d recommend upgrading to the split pad instead of the long pad it comes with. I will say the new pads are pretty cheap so that could go as a bonus. Another thing I didn’t like is the process of bleeding them. I’ve only had to do it once and they’ve held pressure very well, but I find the shimano breaks are the easiest to get bled.So all in all these breaks are absolutely solid, can’t recommend them enough.

Great value
These brakes are a huge upgrade over mechanical, and a great value. They came prebled, but with the excess hose length, they must be cut and bled again with kit not included.

Magura quality is long-gone history
Nothing against the seller, he did great, all arrived as advertised. The brakes are the problem.I used to love Maguras some 20 years back. They were rigid, had good adjustments and just worked great. Based on this I bought the MT Maguras (quad piston) for my son who is generally thin and lightweight and is 14 y.o..Oh what a bunch of crap. They levers flex even when he presses them, the housing is plastic. The brakes were a bit weak so we bled them (I have experience, a lot of experience). No improvement. We bled the system again, still soft and again and again. No bubbles coming out and the brake still without that rigid stop when the pads touch the rotor. To make matters worse the levers go too deep, even with the lever reach adjustment cranked all the way out. My son does wheelies so he needs one-finger control at the slightest touch and not halfway through the entire travel. Sadly, I will not return to Magura any more. Too much money for cheap plastic. They call it carbotecture but it's just plastic. We bought the Shimano M6120 (the '20' denotes quad piston calipers) and those things are rigid as hell, work instantly and brake like crazy on a Surron.

Plastic Cheap Levers with OK Calipers
Plastic levers with cheap parts and nonexistent customer service... Mine came broken and I was unable to return. Waste of money.

Brakes
Ther are really good but if you want them to be really good you have to bleed them
