Pacific Coast Touch of Down Standard Pillow Set (2 Standard Pillows)

Stayed at a Hampton Inn this summer and loved the pillows. Ordered them when I got home. Have been using them for a few weeks now, and LOVE them. I always have trouble finding the right pillow for me. These needed no breaking in period. They are soft and may bot be for everyone but perfect for me.

My experience is terrible with the pillows I received! It started out nicely - pillows seem nice and fluffy out of the dryer but within 10 mins of use they completely collapsed into a bare minimum thin base of a hard, unsupportive and uncomfortable mess. So you can't really sleep on it but ironically enough the pillows can be fluffed up nicely again as long as you have the patience to keep doing it every few minutes! My entire household hates them and now we are back to regular pillows. I trust the older good reviews and believe the quality control is highly lacking now - that's unacceptable for such expensive product; wish I could return them!

Probably 13 or so years ago I stayed at the "W" Hotel in Manhattan when the "heavenly bed" rooms that ultimately made this brand so popular made their debut. After an amazing night's sleep, my mother and I checked all the labels on the pillows and bedding to figure out the manufacturer so we could buy our own. This was long before the hotel started marketing the bedding to hotel guests. A few months later, as a birthday gift my Mom gave me two PC pillows I still use to this day. She bought directly from PC. Someone would have to pry them from my cold, dead hands as they are my holy grail pillows.Over the last 10 years, between my Mom and myself, we've purchased at least a dozen more PC pillows and NONE match the quality of the original ones my Mom bought me so long ago.Bottom line, these pillows are okay so I gave 3 stars. I use these in addition with my original old PC pillows. I considered 4 stars because I do "like it" but I'm still searching for the quality from years ago and these are okay for the price but I'm still disappointed. Waaaah.

I bought these pillows after a stay at a Hilton Hotel in Florida--where I had the best pillows on earth. Turns out these that I bought are the "standard", and the ones at the hotel were "super standard", but when I look at the specs online, I see NO difference...don't really feel a difference either.I sleep so much better now that I have these pillows. They get a tad smelly when I sweat at night, but then ALL feather pillows do that. It is the down. I read some reviews of people complaining about that, and I suspect they have never used down pillows before. I just turned the heat down a bit, and solved the problem by not sweating. I also put some great cotton allergen covers over them, and that helps; not only with the comfort, but also the down smell.Love these pillows!

not as full or firm as the hotel pillows, but nice

I had used these pillows in numerous Hilton Hotels & always loved them. So when I saw I could order them online, I jumped at the chance to do so. They are not too hard, not too soft but just that right mix of goose down & feathers. I have never been able to find a pillow I was really comfortable in a store but these pillow fit the bill. My husband does not care for them because he likes a very firm pillow so if that is what you are looking for, this is not the pillow for you. I LOVE THESE PILLOWS!

I waited a year to publish this because the best way to review a pillow is to give it time. When I first got these pillows they felt just like the ones in the Hilton did, soft fluffy and like a cloud (that's what inspired me to buy them in the first place). But as time has gone on...these pillows have lost all air and fluff and are very stiff. They feel more like a crumpled foam ball than a nice down pillow. I'm extremely disappointed in how they've deteriorated over time. I sleep with 5 pillows and I rotate them nightly to make sure they're not constantly receiving the same level of wear and tear but I think I may have to replace some of them sooner than anticipated.If possible to edit I will add photos later on.
