Good for a tea, good fir reducing high blood pressure, must building up in your system, meaning few weeks drinking AV, leaves as a tea! Every day.

Bought this for a special Mexican recipe- an Oaxacan Mole- and they were perfect. If the recipe calls for avocado leaves, this is what you want! The avocado leaves are at the bottom of the photo, which shows the ingredients for the Mole.

I don't know about the quality of these compared to others - they seem fine, with lots of intact big leaves, and this is my first time cooking with them. I LOVE the subtle umami flavor I can't really describe well that they add to my black beans. WIll purchase again.

I purchased the leaves to help me pass kidney stones. I was ready for a bitter taste, but it tastes really good. The stone passed before I can try it though.

If you're buying these for tea, they'll probably be great for you. I want them for cooking and the bag is filled with mostly bits - I wouldn't describe them as broken leaves. At least in the bag I got, they are mostly tiny broken bits and twigs with just a very few what I would call broken leaves - the largest of which is 1.5" x 1.5". I'll play hell getting these bits out of a recipe without putting them in cheesecloth, which I wanted to avoid. I went to my Mexican market and found some decent-sized dry avocado leaves - and organic, for under $2.

Just arrived today so have not had a chance to try out the avocado leaves, but they are lovely, well packed and fragrant.
