Great toaster oven
Works terrific, very ample space for up to 4 pieces of bread. Holds temps evenly.

Great toaster oven gets everything right
What a great little toaster oven! The size is good for a small oven, the controls are easy to turn (though the labelling is so small you may need a magnifying glass to read it) and the handle stays cool enough to handle comfortably. The splash guard over the heating element is a good shape to protect it. It toasts nicely and the settings for toast darkness are right. Overall, I could not have asked for a better toaster oven for this price.

Works well, easy to burn yourself on the door
I'm quite happy with my purchase. It does what I need it to. I have only two small complaints. One is that it is very easy to burn yourself on the door, particularly when closing it. You can only touch the handle safely, if you graze any other part of the door, it'll burn you. So make sure you use the handle and probably don't let children use it. Speaking of children, my other small complaint is that turning off the oven always makes a dinging sound. Not a huge deal, except when you're trying to be sneaky about heating something up and don't want your kids to hear from the other room (or while they're sleeping) :)Don't buy the two things listed as "frequently bought together." The Farberware Bakeware 4-piece set pieces don't fit inside. Same with the 11inch non-stick liner. That one also feels unnecessary because this oven already has a removable liner at the bottom that you can wash when dirty. If you want more pans, I got these and they work great!CACOLES Stainless Steel Baking Sheet Pan Set of 6, 9 x 7 x 1 Inch

Toast to boast!
I recently purchased the Hamilton Beach Countertop Toaster Oven as a replacement for my aging 20-year-old Black & Decker toaster oven, and I couldn't be more satisfied. This toaster oven came highly recommended by Wirecutter, and it certainly lives up to the hype.It toasts nicely and evenly, delivering perfect results every time. The knobs are very easy to use, making it simple to set the desired time and temperature. The overall design is both sleek and functional, fitting well into my kitchen space. If you’re looking for a reliable and efficient toaster oven, I highly recommend the Hamilton Beach Countertop Toaster Oven. It’s a fantastic upgrade that offers excellent performance and ease of use.

Surprisingly, makes great toast
This toaster oven is working out very well for me so far. I guess the pizza capability is a combination of it having a curve in back to fit pizzas in, and the fact the temperature gauge seems to go above 450. After 450 it says broil; I'm unclear if it's hotter than 450, or it just is more sustained uses of the heating element. Whatever the case, this thing actually toasts bread, it does it fast, and it even toasts wheat bread to the color I pick on the dial.Overall the construction seems very good. The three knobs turn like they're greased smooth. Even though you have to turn the timer past 10 and come back to use it at shorter times, it moves cleanly. The door hinges also feel sturdy - the one I'm replacing actually had terrible hinges that failed. This feels solid.I was surprised that the selector knob (bake, toast, broil) doesn't directly set the unit to bottom heating element, both heating element, or top only. It does somewhat cycle; but you can still control the temperature. So far I've used the bake setting to bake a frozen calzone and to reheat leftover fried chicken; I've toasted bagels both on toast and on broil (if you want NO heat on the underside use broil). An additional feature I really like is that the crumb tray is an actual slide out tray, you don't just open the bottom of this up and shake it over your garbage can!! Another unusual feature is that the rack it comes with has hooks underneath for the broil pan it comes with to be inserted. That is, instead of buying a separate pan with a grill insert that you'd broil over, you can broil right on the standard grill with a drip pan underneath! (However I have a nonstick broil pan for toaster ovens so I will continue to use that.)Overall, this is the well-made and effective $50-class toaster oven I've been looking for!

You (almost) get what you pay for
I bought this toaster oven in October 2019 to replace a nice Cuisinart toaster oven whose bottom element had warped and eventually, literally, flamed out after three years of everyday use. My criteria for its replacement were pretty basic: cheap, easy to use and clean, fairly small, attractive and stainless steel exterior. This toaster oven seemed to check all those boxes so I purchased it, $48.99 at the time. It gets used daily, sometimes even twice a day.Pros: small footprint; easy to clean; adequately (though not very evenly) toasts bread, English muffins, bagels, hotdog and hamburger buns. Operation is straightforward.Cons: it is very easy to burn your food due to the fussy timer dial - NEVER step away to do something else while you wait for your food to toast. The included pan warps when heated - luckily I saved the one that came with my previous toaster oven. And frozen appetizers and mini-pizzas always seem to need 10 minutes or more than the cooking directions state on their packaging; after several disappointing tries I finally just stuck to toasting bread products. So after adjusting to this toaster oven's shortcomings for nearly two years, today I was horrified to find the bottom front corner inside the door is rusting. My guess is the moisture that naturally evaporates and then runs down the glass during toasting has been condensing at this spot, leading to the rust. As you can see from my photos I have taken excellent care of this unit, so the rust is not from any abuse on my part.So there's my two cents - adequate but not spectacular results. I'm glad I didn't pay what is being asked for it now. And now my search begins for its replacement as rust on an electrical appliance makes me very nervous....
