I selected this item instead of the more expensive kit to save a few dollars. This kit is nice, comes with all the necessities. However, the bottles are smaller than 1000 ml, so if you are using Cinestill's C41 kit, the bottles will not hold all of the developer, blix or stabilizer. I ended up having to buy larger storage bottles.Next, while developing and completing inversions, some of the blix leaked from the red top. A bit frustrating, since it was blix. All I did after was be far more cautious of how I turned the tank over. Problem mostly solved, but it still leaked a bit.A decent product, but I had to buy larger bottles and it was not as tight as I liked.

Reals dont sit securely on the shaft making agitation very difficult. I don't use the shaft spin anymore as the first rolls were edged due to poor agitation. It works but you have to do inversions only.

Good value versus buying these items separately. If you buy Cinestill chemicals, you'll have to do a 1/2 solution to use these jugs, they're on the small side.

The bottles that come with the kit are useless as the volume is not enough to immerse two rolls of 35mm in the kit. This makes them pointless. You are better off buying the film tank separately along with a 45oz graduated cylinder for mixing the chemicals. Buy 3 32 oz hydrogen peroxide brown bottles to store your chemicals. This is much cheaper than buying photo chemical plastic bottles which are a rip off - they are made of the same plastic btw. Also, the kit measurements are all in metric not oz’s and my Cinestill c41 chemical instructions were in oz which makes this kit additionally a pain.

While most of the kit is adequate, including the measuring cylinders and reels, the tank's cap leaks horribly when inverted. Not only does this cause loss of the chemistry, but it causes development chemical to fly all over the place during the process. I am a biochemist by training; working with chemicals is not new to me. But with a cap this leaky, you should buy a different tank. The gloves are also pretty bad.

When doing inversions, tank leaks. Chemicals go everywhere. Do not recommend this kit. One piece came broken and they gave me a partial refund for that.Very disappointed.

No problems with any of the items.However the 3 bottles give the impression that they are for the 3 development chemicals.However they are half the size they need to be for most chemicals, especially for colour film development. They need to be at least 1 litre each to take the mixed chemicals. So, I have to search and buy 3 new bottles.
