The plastic bottling may have imparted an "off" flavor to this syrup.
I agree with the other reviewer - I wish this came in glass, not plastic. In fact, had I known it came in plastic I never would have purchased it.This is my first time trying Yacon syrup. I find this particular brand to be bland & it has an "off", flat taste which I can't tell if it's the natural taste of Yacon syrup or if it has picked up a flavor of plastic from being in a plastic bottle. The syrup does have somewhat of a "plasticky" after-taste to it. This particular brand's Yacon syrup is not at all what I would call "sweet" in any way - I can't see it sweetening anything.I wouldn't recommend this particular brand of Yacon Syrup specifically because of the plastic bottle. I will have to order the syrup in a glass jar and see how the flavor compares.

really like this and seems to help with gut and sugar replacement but wish it came in glass not plastic
