Great for home gym
These mats are perfect for my use with a home gym.Like many people across the country due to covid, I've decided to cancel my gym membership and start working out at home. These mats are great. Good price, Light weight, easy to clean and Very easy to assemble. Which is great if you need to transport them or reconfigure your equipment. Now, do understand that these are not super thick heavy duty rubber mats that may be in some big gyms. You still need to take caution when dealing with heavy weights. Dropping a 50lb iron dumbbell from standing position may still damage your concrete or tile floor but should protect from lighter weights/lower drops. And they definitely prevent scuffing or scratching. They also feel nice if you like to workout bare foot or to do yoga or stretches.Assembly took less than 5 minutes. I did encounter the strange edges that would not meet up like some reviewers said but if you pay attention, you will notice some of the edgy pieces are different shaped and you just need to swap those around until you get the perfect fit.Being that they are lightweight they do wiggle around just a little bit but only towards the ends where I don't have weights/equipment on them and so far no pieces have separated from another. Nor have I noticed any rips or tears and I use non-coated iron weights on them.No need to worry about sweating heavily or possibly spilling liquid on them either as they are easily cleaned.Overall I am very satisfied with these mats and plan to buy another set or two when my home gym expands more.

Very comfortable for your joints, but not quite perfect
I use this to do Tracy Anderson workouts which are a mix of cardio and weight exercises where you may be lying down or on your knees. The good:- does not move around on wood floor while doing weight exercises that do not have much movement- VERY comfortable cushioning for knees and wrists, lying down. Absolutely no knee pain. I do not need a separate mat to cushion my joints. I have tossed hand weights (note: less than 10 lbs) and worked out with a kind of heavy folding chair on these tiles and there was no damage to the tiles or even denting.- Easy to clean- good durability (I also roll my office chair onto some pieces as a floor protector and it holds up!)- no smell, does not absorb smell of sweat- hair does not stick to the floor (easy to clean up/vacuum)- good grip even when your hands are sweaty- floor absorbs sweat wellThe bad:- The tiles do slightly slide on hardwood floor when doing exercises that have more force and movement, like if you do a lunge and then quickly switch positions laterally- I did not need to glue any of the tiles together initially, but after about 6 weeks, I had to glue a single which had begun to expand away from other pieces due to frequently pushing down on that tile away from others (like doing a downward dog type of position, where you have opposing forces). The tile's pieces no longer quite matched up due to having stretched away. Eventually I had to glue together some other pieces. In about two months, I glued together 4 pieces in different positions. They were not damaged at all, but they had just started to kind of extend away from other pieces due to pushing down on them.- If your feet catch out the connecting seams of the puzzle pieces during a quick movement, you will push up some of the puzzle seams and this can be distracting- the pieces that come with the tiles to cover the edges do not allow you to necessarily do so seamlessly all the way around the edge. Some pieces need to be cut to fit against edges of another tile. Some other reviewers mention this. This is a cosmetic problem that is easily fixed, but mildly irritating.Do I regret buying this? No. I do not regret buying this because it gave me the chance to try my workout on a much larger surface area for a low investment (rather than be limited to a small regular exercise mat)Will I replace this with a solid piece of exercise flooring (like a large exercise mat)? Yes. This will also be way, way more expensive but I am prepared to do it after having used this for a over 2 months successfully. I just hate when my feet catch the puzzle seams.

Great for workouts.
We replaced some older tiles that had our kids ripped. This is great for our workout equipment and doing some low impact exercises in our garage. We’re definitely going to add more soon. Thick enough for dropping weights and it’s a great deal for the price.

Works as advertised
These do just the job they said they would. I bought 1 pack and they went together easily and stay together. They reduce discomfort while doing exercises on the floor, and even help reduce fatigue and pain in the body by providing a softer floor. The grip does a good job and isn't so much that you notice it while using. Overall a very good product. I can't speak for it's durability yet as I've only had mine for a month now, but so far so good. Seriously considering getting a couple more packs if/when they go on sale again.

Great quality for price!
I bought these to put in my basement as an in-home gym. I primarily use for aerobics, stretching, yoga, weight lifting and HIIT class. The mats stay together pretty well for the most part but have come apart on me a few times, especially when I'm doing burpees. But overall they're pretty durable. They are definitely slippery so I'd recommend wearing shoes or gripped socks when doing yoga, etc. But for the price, these are fantastic and I highly recommend
