This is a three liter wine bottle etched and hand painted with “The Dance at Bougival” by Pierre-August Renoir ~ 1883. The painting has been described as one of Renoir's first reversions to a more classical style of painting he learned copying paintings in the Louvre while maintaining the bright palette of his fellow Impressionists. Bottle Art by Candice Norcross. A beautiful depiction of a loving couple dancing. This bottle is empty, however there is an appropriate cork included so the purchaser can have a favorite winery fill it. It will hold four bottles of wine. On the back is a description of the art low enough on the bottle to accommodate a salutation or a wine label.
