I use this every morning and night on my face. It is a light oil which gives super coverage and my skin a radiant glow. I’m very happy with my purchase and will order again.

It absorbs relatively quick! But leaves my skin moist and feels light❤️ Better than any other moisturizer I’ve ever used🙏🏼

Balance Me Rose Otto Face Oil has a rich feel, but it feels good to my dry skin. I prefer a couple drops added to my night cream for a less oily feel and an extra hydration boost that makes my skin feel calm and comfortable. This makes my dry skin feel extra supple and velvety soft. I’ve also used this oil after cleansing (as directed) before my cream, and it feels about the same to me. Either way, I feel like any oily residue just gets subsumed by my face cream.I’ve also used this oil directly on my skin a little while before bed for the added antioxidants and hydration, an hour or so after I’ve finished my nighttime skin care routine. My skin surface feels somewhat oily for about 30 minutes. I’m guessing it’s from having olive and grape seed oils as main ingredients. The oily feeling doesn’t bother me, but it may feel heavy to some people. I like the feel of more hydration and the benefit of waking with skin that looks and feels calm and already feels smooth and hydrated.This oil doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I like the scent, but I find it fairly strong even using just two drops. Those who are super sensitive May want to consider that the fragrance ingredients in this are potential allergens that get moderate to high risk health ratings by EWG. While this face oil hasn’t bothered my allergies or sensitivities, products with 100% natural fragrance have the potential to trigger irritation or allergies. Like it. 4 stars. Made in Britain.

Balance Me rose hip oil serumBalance Me is a new to me brand. So I did a little digging and I like what I see! Something I found really cool, aside from their natural and pure products of course, is their product photos....they use real people, and I love it. They aren't models, they're normal people like you and me (assuming you're not a model, either).Anywho, this serum oil is so amazing. It smells absolutely divine. I could smell it the moment I took the bottle out of the box. Ive recently become a huge body & facial oil fan and this one is top notch in my collection (oils are so great to use in winter). A few drops is all you need so even though this is only an ounce of product it'll actually last me longer than any other serums I own and use.

I have tried so many face oils lately and this is one of my favorites. It has a very nice blend of fresh oils along with flower and fruit extracts. It also has Squalane in it and I am happy to see it is made from Olives and not Shark livers. So many products now have Squalane, but they don’t list the source and are most likely from deep sea shark livers - ugh! Not this product, the source is totally vegan and wonderful!!!The scent is light and totally natural. It definitely has the scent of lovely fresh roses, but also just an undertones of woodsy and citrus. It is a lovely combination and there are no synthetic perfumes.The base oil is olive, grape, camellia, meadowfoam, oat kernel, jojoba, rosehip, cranberry, Squalane, cloudberry, and borage. The added extracts are lotus flower, violet, cucumber, rose, geranium, palmarose, and lemon.I love this face oil. It is absolutely wonderful and worth the $46 for the quality ingredients!

Years ago I purchased my first facial oil - at the Vermont Country Store. It was from the brand Olivella. To me, it seemed no different than cooking oil. It was thick, greasy, occlusive and left my skin feeling unclean. Although they've peaked in popularity, I resisted buying another facial oil for many years as a result of that experience.But recently I tried an Elemis oil that's very lightweight, absorbs quickly and leaves my skin a dewy, healthy and glowing. Balance Me skincare, a UK brand created by two women, is new to me and I was excited to try their Rose Otto Facial Oil, hoping for similar results (at a better price). Unfortunately, this is a dense, greasy oil that sits on the skin rather than sinking in. I love the natural rose aroma and it does work nicely overnight, but I can't get past that oily feeling when I first put it on.I think it's a matter of personal preference and, if you like a richer oil, this might work for you. As for me, I'll stick with the pricier Elemis brand.

Interesting stuff here: It has a nice rose fragrance, not too much--not too light, either. It soaks into the skin, but it also stays sitting right on top, too.It is an oil and stays oily on the skin--even after absorption. So, I can only use it at night. And I am sure that I will find that I can only use it during the dry winter months--it will be too much for high humidity. As there are only two-three months that I'll be able to make use of this product, I know I won't go through it all...Wonder if it would last until next year? Thinking I should not even try to keep it that long....So, with that thinking in place, I have been lightly dabbing it on my face before I go to bed, then adding a few more drops to my hands and cuticles and massaging it in. And I've used it on other dry areas too. It is pleasant to use, and I do wake up the next morning and feel the benefits.It is a nice product, but definitely no where near the extraordinary loveliness of the Baume de Rose L'Huile All-Over Rose Oil from Terry. But this does not have a high price tag either.
