The old one I had was faulty, and the screen was all messed up. So I threw it across the room when my room was 43 degrees. So that made it completely unusable. Yes, I have anger management problems. That's another story. As soon as I figured out where I put the batteries, this one was perfect. The screen lit up to make is easy to see the settings I was putting it in (Original was not backlit the way this one is). Hold down the on button for a few seconds aiming at the unit? Boom. Connected. Set it how I want, works great. For the price I was very happy. It is a cheaper plastic than what came with the original unit, but that doesn't matter, it works better. Unit ending in NVJU if that helps.

Worked perfectly for 2 different brands of wall AC units we lost track of their remotes. However, the batteries provided died quickly so make sure you have better triple A batteries on hand to have this remote working smoothly.

I had 4 Daikin splits put in last month, and the installer somehow managed to lose one of them. This thing seems to work perfectly.

The first one was defective. They sent me out a second one. It did not work. It is extremely cheap material also. I ended up ordering one from Daiken. It was $80.00 but worth every penny. Hopefully you have a better experience
