It works very well sturdier than the ones I bought before the legs are a little uneven though I got to loosen up all the bolts and try to re establish the leg settings the bucket that the poop goes in could be a little more secure I used a screw through the Hole to keep her from sliding off

Push pin does not stay in place. Lock release parts do not align. Jerky movement up and down. Dangerous for me as it does not move me all the way up into a standing position. Defects aside, I'd have to return it anyway, but it should be great for most intended users if made corectly with better assembly instructions. I just called the manufacturer to describe my problems. They are shipping me a replacement unit. The first one came in 1 day delivery which was fantastic. Meanwhile, as I think about this more, I may solve some of the danger problem by raising the legs and or adjusting the weight setting. With a properly functional unit, my problems may disappear. I'll post my results. Meanwhile we know that the distributor stands behind the sale.

this is a great idea but it has limitations. I am not a big guy in any way, and this seat is too confining. the side rails are in the way and the hole in the seat is too small. the seat does work well for assisting in standing but just makes other cleanliness practices more difficult for someone who already has difficulty in the bathroom. a little redesign and this would get 5 stars from me.

This device is easy to use, fits in small spaces and is adjustable for smaller & larger people. It gives an extra boost from a sitting position & the legs can be raised high enough to give a person with weakened legs & arms the ability to stand! It's the best device we have purchased for the home! It's gives the caretaker a break from boosting a loved one up & gives the disabled a sense of personal freedom. Delivery was speedy too!!

This seat raises up after pushing a lever on it, but it pinched and almost catapulted my mom out of it.

I am not pleased with this product. I mistakenly thought that it had some kind of electric hydraulic lift, it does not. It's manual. It lifts and propels the person too far forward, and it's hard for them to get standing, and if they fall back onto the seat, it just sits them back down. It doesn't lock so they can get their footing to stand again. Also, the seat itself has a raised lip around the opening, which hurts a fragile elderly person with little body fat. Not sure why they changed the seat itself. Not a great product.

Filled his need, however it does not fit well over an oblong toilet bowl. It is also considerably heavier than the conventional over the toilet cammode. Do your homework before purchasing to be sure this is the one for you.

The device came with some very serious defects- the pieces were not formed to fit one another as shown in the instructions so assembly was impossible. Avoid this unit, or only buy it from a certified medical devices carrier who will guarantee assembly.
