I was concerned by the reviews that this would only be a 2 layer muslin blanket, but I am very happy I still took a chance. I can see how people would be confused by the way the layers separate that it is only 2 layers but I don’t believe that to be the case. I think the fabric is “double woven” making 2 thin layers appear to be 1 layer.The fabric is soft, fluffy, light weight, and the size of the blanket is wonderful. Washes up like a dream even without any softeners, and does not warp. The colors are the same as pictured and the stitching is very nice. I’m surprised I didn’t have to pay more for this item and my son loves it.

This is a lovely blanket, beautiful pattern. It is fairly large and works great as a blanket for my toddler to cover up with at night, is too big to easily use in the stroller without dragging on the ground. That being said, it is not comparable to the Aden & Anais dream blanket, which is also described as being 4 layers. We have several A&A blankets, the dream blanket, swaddling blankets, a stroller blanket and a muslin one from target that is big like the dream blanket but thinner. So to compare this one... It is big like a dream blanket but very thin, almost as thin as a swaddling blanket. It is soft and smooth feeling and we are planning on using it in the bed for those hot summer nights when the dream blanket will be too heavy.

I would have given this 5 stars but it's thinner than I expected; it feels more like 2 layers of muslin swaddle, not 4. If you're looking for a winter blanket, the Aden Anais Dream Blanket is more appropriate. However, this is a perfect lightweight summer blanket or newborn swaddle. It's soft, it washed up beautifully, and my daughter loves the elephant print.

This blanket is perfect! It is lightweight but warm and very soft. My 2 year old loves it and grabs it to take to bed every night. The pattern is adorable and works perfectly for a girl or boy. This blanket is bigger than most crib blankets so it can be used for children from the age of newborn up till 4, or whenever they transition out of the toddler bed. My daughter has a dream blanket and while that does seem to be a tiny bit thicker I think this one works better for the warm weather.

This blanket is so big and so nice!! So glad I decided to go with this one. I bought it for my baby that's due in a month but it's so big and soft my older kids are fighting over who gets to use it until the baby can. It IS thinner than I expected and although I read the reviews saying this and knew it would be, I can not see how this is 4 layers. It feels and looks like just 2. I'm still very happy with the blanket overall though. And the pattern is absolutely adorable!

This is being advertised as 4 layers but I don't believe it isI have own many blankets four layer and none are this thinThis to me is a 2 layer blanketThat explains the price with the in my opinion wrong information. Disappointed

Blanket is cute and lightweight, but definitely not like the other layered muslin blankets I have. Much thinner. It serves a purpose and wasn't so expensive, so I will not be returning, but I did have to buy a different one to use as an actual summer blanket as my son found this to be just too light. Would not buy again.

It does state it's 4 layers of Muslin, however, when it arrives, it so thin. However, after wash and dry it is pretty fluffy. Maybe more like 3 layers, definitely not 4. But it works well for us. The size is fantastic and design is adorable. For the price, it can't be beat compare to the others which run close to 40 dollars.
