This product works great for those mornings when you wake up with serious bed head. Because I color my hair, a regular straightener is too hot and damages my hair. This brush is perfect for me. I go to bed with my hair damp and it is all over the place when I wake up. This brush straightens my hair perfectly and takes much less time than my traditional straightener without all the damage to my hair. The only issue I have with this brush is that the controls are on the side of the brush handle and it is very easy to accidentally turn the brush off or lower the heat. The controls would be better placed somewhere other than where you need to have your hand to handle the brush.

This product really does straighten the hair just like it advertises. However, I am African American with wavy roots. The brush does not allow you to touch the roots at all. I tried with much effort to get the roots near the heating elements but the way the brush is designed, it was impossible. Therefore, it kinda defeated the purpose of straightening my hair. For those who already have straight roots, this product is really wonderful and I would recommend it. Another thing I'd like to add is that it does not give the shine that you would get from a flat iron. I had to return it.

Was very surprised how quickly I became "addicted" to this brush!! I love it!! I thought it was just me but my grand baby girl loves this because she can do everything herself and for a six year old to love to have her hair clean and fixed by herself it really helps!! Takes a lot of my headache away! No more pulling away from me and I don't have to do hardly anything anymore. No more fighting to get her hair dryer and curled. Thank you!!

My hair is thick and wavy and when I used this, it did get somewhat straighter but more puffy. I bought this because I thought it would save me time but I did not like how my hair turned out. Also, the burning smell of the plastic bristols were unbearable. My mom's hair is straight but in the morning her hair gets creased from sleeping. She used it and it was good for her hair but we already have a straightener and it does the same thing.

This is a very nice product, made very well. It is a little difficute getting the bristles all the way through your hair to straighten all the way through so you still have to do smaller sections as you would a regular flat hair straightener. It does not straighten as well as a regular straightener either but it does make a difference with wavey hair to get it looking some-what straight. For the price it's a nice product.

I was very skeptical about this product because when I turned it on it had this smell coming from it and was not pleasant, maybe it was rubber burning, I really don't know. So I have very thick wavy hair so when I tried it I knew it was going to be a process and not just something I can comb through my hair and presto I'm done, so it did take less than an ordinary straightener but it really came out puffy and frizzy around the roots of my hair which just made my hair look big and puffy. I think it'll the product is ok. If I had thin hair then it would of worked a lot better or natural straight hair I think it would work very well on but since the the comb cannot get close to the roots, the hair just has a puffy frizzy foundation and the middle and ends are straight.

This is the heated brush to buy. It works amazingly well, does NOT pull my hair or hurt when brushing. I'm disabled in my shoulders and although my arms are needed to use it, my pain is greatly reduced versus using a hair dryer for 50 minutes (very thick hair) and another 20 minutes using a typical straightener. Great customer service as well! Stop looking...buy this one. You won't regret it.

I have had this item about 4 months. It helps slightly in straightening hair but not as well as advertised. Also in the 4 months I have had it the red rubber guards continue to fall off and causes item to burn you and is no longer safe to use!
