Delicious, organic, but pricey
I've had this brand and flavor before; love it, but the local markets seem not to carry it any longer, so looked on Amazon and ordered it there. All fine, except the price is close to $6 a bag for a regular size bag-- pricey even for great quality and organic potato chips-- so the price is my one (and only) complaint.

Crispy, crunchy, & well-seasoned
I prefer the single-serve variety pack of Spudlove’s potato chips; since they weren’t available, I opted for the 9-pack of 5 oz barbecue flavor. Delivery was fairly prompt. All nine bags have an expiration date in early August—just about 4 months—I wish they were dated a couple of months later. I’ve noticed with the sea salt and vinegar & salt flavors there are often a few really greasy chips in bags, which I toss out. I haven’t noticed this in the barbecue flavor. There seems to be a wide variety of organic tortilla chips on the market, but it’s rare to find organic potato chips (and who wants to eat tortilla chips every time they want a crunchy snack?), so I will buy them again, unless the variety pack is available again in the future!

BBQ.
These chips are good. It would be nice if they came in Ranch Flavor and Sour Cream and Onion Flavor. Thank You.

Way too expensive and greasy
I was so excited to try something new. I had a chip similar to this one come and something didn't taste right, it was a really healthy chip. But it made me sick to my stomach. So I decided to try this one and I just had a few bites, I couldn't wait. Now I'm sorry I did. I had my gallbladder out, so my body doesn't digest meat well and it gets upset from anything greasy. It is just the way my stomach is. So I tried one and it was sort of stale tasting, I checked the bag and it had plenty of time for expiration, then I took a chip and put it in the light and it looked greasy. So that is what I was tasting. The box was haphazard, maybe from shipping. Not a bag crushed though and good bags besides. But I tell it like I tasted it and I thought $5.00 for one of the 5 ounce chip bags was a lot. So I got 5 of those bags and I couldn't even eat one. I feel bad writing this review because it is likely the maker put a lot of hard work into his chip making. Depending on what was used for oil, seems to be the issue. I don't know, perhaps I will check to see, but it spoiled the whole chip whatever it was. I can't use Vegetable Oil or Cannola Oil, those two hurt my stomach. Maybe cottonseed oil would be the best. Sunflower also hurts my stomach some times, but it is better than Vegetable Oil or Cannola Oil. Back to the chip making process to find an oil to make the number 1 chip. I hope they do, but this is an honest review.

Great
They are not too salty so it’s perfect when you want to eat them with something salty

Not sure what I think about these - different
I was expecting a small bag and was not disappointed LOL But what I was not expecting was the chips themselves are quite small. Not broken, they are unbroken tiny chips. Trying to dip most of these would be impossible. Made me wonder what variety of potatoes they are using. A lot of irregularly shaped small chips. The taste was interesting too. While they definitely were vinegar flavored they were so sweet I double checked that they weren't actually BBQ flavor. It was not unpleasant and thankfully I didn't note any nauseating off-taste from the seed oils used. There are other brands in vinegar flavor I want to explore but I may purchase these again. For chips, these so far have not caused any gastric disturbance. I eat them rarely because the seed oils can cause me much misery not to mention taste yuck. But these seem digestible so far. Just a wicked high price for them though. But it was a nice treat and I was able to contain myself to about a third of the bag.

Best potato chip
This brand is getting harder to find, so getting a case is fantastic.

“Best” category above all chips!
These are amazing chips. The people who make them really know their potatoes. The flavor is within the top 3 or 4 brands of plain salted potato chips that I’ve ever tasted. I include in that category: Lays “Simply” potato chips with sea salt; Late July “simple as sea salt” Potato Chips; and Kettle Organic salted potato chips. These are as good as any of them and are maybe the best of all. Exquisitely cooked for a certain texture, crisp but never too hard, these chips chew easily and do not form lethal shards that dig into the roof of your mouth and gums. These make your taste buds sit up and beg for more.Usually when I try chips like these, I say “that’s interesting” and never come back to them. But I tried this brand for the first time yesterday, and I’ve already finished off the bag. Umm... I can see how that might be a problem! But not the kind of problem or which we take off stars. Heck, this is 5 stars through and through. No... this is 11 stars. Gotta be 11 stars. Delicious! They are also very clean — no bad spots that cooked up black or green edges or burned skins. Just beautiful, yellow, plain salted potatoes. Worth finding and doing whatever it takes to get them. (Legally, of course) I say 5 stars. 5 real ones. 6 imaginary ones. 11 stars!
