Having received one of these as a Christmas present I was so impressed I bought another two for our other cars. There is nothing I can add to the praise of the quality and sturdiness but one word of warning is that when fitting, choose your spot carefully as once it's on, it's on! The glue is extremely efficient and sets almost instantly meaning that once in place you cannot remove the base without resorting to heating the area and running dental floss or a blade of some sort under the rubber to break the seal. I will probably have to sell the mount with the car as it's too much trouble to contemplate removing it.

Looks good, easy to set up and seems to be working fine, nice and sturdy on the dashboard, had to tighten the screw on the ball as the weight of the phone get pulling it downwards whilst travelling but not a problem once set in the right position - hopefully it will stay attached on dash, as only been on one day so far 🤞

With limited reviews available at the time, what struck me most was its price. It was the price that motivated me to place an order. Compared to other car phone holders, which didn't exceed £15 (my wife has one), this one cost £21.99. Skeptical yet intrigued, I read the product description thoroughly before making the purchase. I was prepared to return it if it failed to live up to its price. Upon receiving the product, the packaging exuded simplicity, elegance, and a sense of quality. Eagerly, I unpacked the holder and marveled at its superior craftsmanship. Compared to the cheap car phone mounts I had used before, this VANMASS phone cradle was truly exceptional. I compared it to my wife's £15 holder and noticed that the surface of the VANMASS product was incredibly smooth, with precise and flawless cuts. It stood head and shoulders above my wife's holder. Impressed, I decided to keep it and give it a try. Coincidentally, my wife and I were about to embark on a trip, so I mounted it on the windshield. I've been using it for nearly two years now, and it's still going strong. Unfortunately, my partner’s £15 holder didn't fare as well and retired year ago. (Hence, the second VANMASS PRO holder is for my partner.) Upon acquiring the new holder, I observed that the quality of this PRO car phone holder is even sturdier than the one I purchased two years ago. While the overall appearance remains unchanged, a closer examination reveals numerous improvements. Firstly, the silicone protection pad inside the clamp arm is sturdier and softer than before. This is a nice product, well made and sturdy, hold the phone well and pretty steady too, seems to be firmly on my windscreen too even through this extreme heat so yep very happy overall. My only criticism is that if your like me, right handed, driving a RHD car and mounting this on the right side of your steering wheel, then releasing the phone is not as easy as it could be because the only release button is on the left....which is where your steering wheel is. If it had 2 release buttons then it would be perfect. I personally can't easily release my phone, if it had two release buttons it would be so much better and cater for all drivers regardless. Update!! 16/08/2021 So I thought I would update my review following contact from Krista at VANMASS about my experience. I posted my review originally to allow people to make an informed decision on what they are buying and also to help VANMASS in making a product that would better please everyone. I have to say, that the customer support I have received is 2nd to none, 1st class and totally unexpected, Krista thanked me for my review and offered to replace my product with something she felt would solve my issue, sent to me without charge! I have now installed my new cradle (serial no. F4BC21) which has a central release button on the back at the bottom, Perfect!! If, like me, you are unsure about which product to buy then let me say this, you wont go wrong with one of these!! I am now 100% satisfied and very pleased with my purchase, the central release button version makes it perfect regardless of where you place it and which hand you use. The customer service has been fantastic, Krista has been brilliant, polite, courteous and efficient and I would have no hesitation in recommending VANMASS products to anyone. Service like this is hard to find but when you do its worth every penny.
