Casual Home Director's Chair ,Natural Frame/Black Canvas,30" - Bar Height

My wife is an artist, and does quite a few art shows each year. We decided to go with these tall director chairs, so we could actually see people walking into her booth space. Most people have regular height chairs, and it can be difficult to see what goes on when there are a lot of people looking at her work. These were the perfect solution.They are a little hard to assemble, only because of the footrest. But we have used them several times since we got them, and likely will use them till they fall apart!Great canvas seat and back. Very durable. They fold nicely for storage, and again, just very nice to sit up a little higher in these art shows.

The height and comfort of this chair are just right for our staff member whose rheumatism usually has difficulty finding a comfortable position on the job. It was a lucky moment when we found this chair on Amazon. And it is attractive in her workspace.

The product is okay. Arrived with a chip out of 1 leg. Just not as quality as the more expensive chairs also available on Amazon, by Filmcraft. But price was significantly less.

It doesn’t feel incredibly sturdy, and after only a few times using it, the dowel rods that hold the seat, don’t stay ‘seated’ in the channel that holds that seat canvas in place. I got it as a festival show chair, that would be portable, and easy to assemble, but if you use the foot rest, it has to be screwed on and off in order to fold it for transport. It makes no sense. My 13 year old has sat in it a couple of times since I’ve gotten it, and the front edge of the seat now seems to have stretched, maybe? Maybe it’s because of the down rod coming unseated a bit, but the actual canvas looks stretched and sloppy now, after only using it, briefly, a couple of times. Unfortunately, finding another box, and shipping it back during this virus mess, is not really an option right now, so I guess that I’m stuck with it, but wouldn’t use it at a show. It’s too unattractive.

What a great find! I bought this chair so I could sit down, relax and cozy up to my garage workbench. The frame quality is excellent, along with the all but flawless clear coat finish. A note of caution, however: If you're a bit wide on the sitting end you might find this chair somewhat on the tight side. I mention that not to disparage anyone but simply to advise.

Got this for my husbands chair at his work bench. But we moved it upstairs to our kitchen breakfast bar ! I’m ordering another for him !

I was astonished to learn that this chair will not fold without removing the footrest which requires a Philips screwdriver. This is an almost unbelievable design blunder as these chairs are traditionally designed to fold up without tools. Could not tell this from the description or pictures. I will be returning these.
