This is a piece of crap! Seriously, not even worth $1 because it doesn't work.I know what you're thinking "What do you expect for $5?" For 5 bucks I expect the wings to go up and down when the solar cell is exposed to light. Pretty simple.***EDIT 03MAR2018***This item was listed as "Non-refundable" through Amazon. I submitted a claim anyway and Amazon refunded my money. I know, 5 bucks is not worth the hassle to some. But, $5 buys a box of Girl Scout Cookies and THAT's worth it!Thanks again, Amazon!

This is extremely cute with his wings flapping like mad in the sun. The only reason I gave it three stars is that I ordered two and only one works. The other one is completely non-working, despite all efforts to get him to move. His wings are free of obstacles and his solar panel is clear but something inside him is not connected and he is not moving, hence the loss of two stars.

This item never worked. I thought it was due to it being a bit cloudy in the past few days. Today is full sun, there is no activity from this little guy though my little duck from the dollar store is dancing away. I did not bother with a return because the time in returning it in the small town I am in is in no way worth the hassle. Will stick to dollar store gadgets

Well, I have owned solar powered flamingo's in the past that worked very well. To my surprise when I opened my package this one was broken. The glass panel that sits at the base that collects the solar was twisted inside the base itself. I carefully positioned it back in place but I think it was already disconnected from the wires to make it work. Also the body of the flamingo was damaged and would not flap its wings up and down. I was going to return it but shipping back would have cost more than the original purchase price so I threw it it the garbage.

I gave this to my 91 year old mother-in-law because she's into pink flamingos. She loves it and, unlike some solar toys, this one really flaps its wings a lot. It's very cute.

What a waste of almost $6 and I'm afraid to send it back because I had read an article several weeks back that Amazon will randomly close people's accounts for returning items so if I need to return something I will do it on something more expensive. Don't buy this because I'm not the only one who has bought one only to have it not work at all.

I purchased this Dancing Flamingo with Sunglasses for a friend because she collects flamingo's and she was delighted when I gave it to her. It now sits in her kitchen window and dancing.

The Flamingo is cute bur does not work. I have some similar items bought in a dollar store a few years ago that are still working. I put flamingo in sun next to them and it just stands there and does not move.

sadly first arrived in time for the birthday of a total flamingo fan. it did not work out of the box. so very disappointing. seller said they would send a replacement which we were pleased about , child excited when it arrived but we opened the packaging and this one did not work either. very upset child.

Just the worst quality item I think I’ve ever received. Bought for my “maflingo” loving daughter to match her sister’s hula girl dancer. Sat it on the bookcase in sunlight and it didn’t once move. Having given it fair time, I picked it up to inspect it and it fell apart, the wings fell out and it couldn’t be repaired. Biggest tat ever - please don’t buy, you’ll be disappointed.

fun novelty item, works fine in some sunshine.-2 for the excessive plastic packaging.Place it in sunlight and it start to dance. funny.Would recommend this brand, well made.

Very small bought it for my Grandaughter as she's just had her bedroom done in flamingos. Dissatisfied and disappointed

Got a thing for flamingos so had to have this for my car. However be warned it can be a bit annoying clicking away and when indicator is on hard to tell if its flick off or not. But I love it all the same.
