Perfect replacement
Practically an exact match for my 1985 Trek 470 Dia-Compe brake levers. The original lever covers were gummy and disintegrating. Removed levers and installed from the rear.

Perfect fit. Use dish soap to install.
Perfect fit. Makes my 70s bike look new again. Take a little dish soap and spread it on the interior of the hood during install. It will make it much easier to slip over the brake.

Perfect replacement for dia compe levers. Took 10 minutes. Good thickness and fit. Anytime you replace hoods there needs to be some finesse so you don't rip them.these were no different. I'm very pleased with the product and I think they'll last for years

Good replacement parts
The old boots were gummy and sticky. These are SO much nicer!You have to loosen the brakes in order to take out the brake cable before installation. That part is 80% of the job. Getting the cacle back in place is a bit tricky. The Youtube videos somehow leave that step out of the process.I would recommend these boots. Made in Taiwan.

Patience is a virtue.
Yes, these are a challenge to stretch on to your brake levers. I found it doable once I had the levers off the handlebar. Just work slowly.
