Best, cheapest two-bulb grow light on the market!
I highly recommend this grow light system - swift delivery, easy set-up, sturdy parts, great product. Many of the other similarly priced 4ft grow light systems have only one bulb, but this one comes with two. I'm using it in my apartment to keep my many succulents and houseplants thriving after bringing them in for the winter. I'm excited to see how they fair and hope you like this product as much as I do!

Great light, great results.
Last year, I started raising orchids in earnest and I had them in my south facing window. Some of the plants burned because it was too much sun and it was quite warm. I moved the plants to the kitchen breakfast bar but they didn't get enough light. I finally decided it was time to put them under lights but I didn't want to spend a fortune. And then I saw this light. In the two weeks since they've been under this fixture, some of them have already begun sending up new growth. I'm looking forward to seeing them bloom this spring and summer. I'm very happy with this lighting fixture.

Well made. Shame it doesn't work
I would like to give this product a higher rating, but I can't, because it only worked for ten minutes.I purchased this in January 2016. I didn't need to use it until March 2017, so it sat in the box unassembled. When the time came, I put it together and powered it up. It worked great for 10 minutes, then the lights went out, and would flicker on for an instant about every two seconds. I called the hotline for the company. The service rep suggested a couple of troubleshooting ideas, but since the warranty is only 90 days, the company would not help me with any replacement parts. I pointed out that it hadn't been used before, and I still had the box and shipping label right there, and could send a picture. This did not matter.I am not completely unhandy, and I've reconfigured my ceiling fluorescent fixtures to take LED tubes, so I could probably replace the ballast. But the way the fixture is assembled makes doing that very challenging. There is no easy way to get to the ballast without doing a lot of bending of thin metal, and I'm wary of that. I did find that having only one T5 tube installed instead of two will work. So now I have a two-tube fixture providing one tube's worth of light. The legs go together in a nice way, and the stand is sturdy. The light fixture is handsome and well assembled. I'm sure I'd really like this, if only it worked. But it doesn't, and now I have a nice LED fixture from The Home Depot providing most of the light for my growing tomato sprouts.

Apollo Lights Fantastic! Apollo hangers needed Also!
Nice sturdy system with 2 lights. Easy to put together and great for my African violets. The only thing I disliked was the locking for the ropes. Such a great system but cheap plastic lock that comes undone and the lights come crashing down. Luckily I read this on the feedbacks and also bought the Apollo 1/8 inch rope hangers and I am all set with easy to use and raise and lower lights

Works great, helps me feed my family!
This lighting setup works Great! I use it as lighting above my 55 gallon fish tank that I grow lettuce in. It produces enough light for the lettuce and fish and aquatic plants. The set up was very easy and it is easy to adjust the height.I would recommend this for any indoor grow setup.

I purchased two of these kits. Both failed after about one year of satisfactory service. I suspect that it is probably the ballast which failed. I contacted the manufacturer as indicated on their site. I got a robo reply which clearly indicated they have no customer service. Cheap, unreliable product. You get what you pay for. In this case not much. I have ordered new lights from a different manufacturer

Electrician hubby happy!
This system is very substantial. I was very impressed and so was my electrician husband. Easy to assemble, very sturdy and plenty of T5 light. I purchased the 4ft system and am very happy with the seller and the product.

Fantastic - while it worked
I purchased the 2-bulb, 4ft fixture in January 2017, and it instantly transformed my plant setup. My orchids and tropical plants loved it and thrived and bloomed for the first time in this house, and it illuminated my whole living room with natural-looking "daylight". Everyone who visited commented that it made the indoors feel like the outdoors. I set it up on a timer, 12 hours on, 12 hours off.Fast forward 10 months, and it started taking a while to turn on when the timer flipped on. Eventually, it would take hours for it to turn on, and then it stopped working entirely and just made spastic tiny flickers every few seconds. When I couldn't find any replacement bulbs at Home Depot or Lowe's, I finally bought another fixture. So, the 2nd fixture was bought December 2017. It also worked wonderfully, but it stopped working in August, after about 9 months of working. I bought replacement bulbs sold by Apollo Horticulture (Apollo Horticulture 4 FT 6400K T5 Fluorescent Grow Light Bulbs), but upon putting them in, they also did not work, and seemed to be instantly burned out. The "symptoms" I've seen indicate there's a problem with the ballast, but I have no experience fixing this and other reviews have said you'd have to tear apart the housing to do this. Now I have two light fixtures that don't work, and 5 replacement bulbs that can't replace.Based on having bought TWO of these and both died within 10 months, it seems safe to say this is a product problem and not a fluke. I won't be buying another from Apollo Horticulture, and will be going to a local hydroponics store I found instead.
