Works very good. It’s been installed for a couple months and I have had almost no battery loss. The solar keeps up nicely. The app works good and it is nice to get the pictures sent to my phone. No HD on the phone, but full HD photos when you download from the SD card.

Loving this product so far. Setup and app are very easy. Battery life seems decent with the solar charger and camera set on medium sensitivity. Granted, my camera only gets about 1-2 hours of direct sunlight, if the suns shining, which hasn't been often since it's been set up. High sensitivity will take a picture of blades of grass blowing and will drain battery quickly. Price point for camera is great, subscription plan is fair. Picture quality is decent, and cost for HD pictures is not unreasonable. I plan on purchasing additional cameras in the future.

Image quality, even in daytime is very mediocre. Ok. That said, you will still really like this camera if you 1) want a set it and forget it device. 2) Basically want to see what's going on, but don't need super sharp images, just reliable information. 3) Love the idea of not having to go to the camera to get your pictures, and like the idea of them arriving on your phone or in your computer's web browser. 4) Are thrilled about not worrying about batteries! So basically, this covers the cellular reporting, and battery replacement (not needed) issues at a fair price. Customers service... well Ive never had a problem reaching a human. I never get anyone on Chat. The website is good but takes getting used to. The phone app is also good. Plan to spend a little time getting up to speed but I think this (aside from image quality) is a great product to keep track on a location and not worry about batteries or visiting the unit to pull micro cards out to read the images.

*UPDATE PLEASE SEE BELOW WHERE TODAYS DATE 30OCT2024 STARTS*So i can only comment and leave stars for the SD images that get sent to my phone as i do not pay for the HD ones. This is why the quality i give only 2 stars as even if the animal is really close it is hard to make out what they are sometimes. The shutter speed is also very slow as i am getting many photos after the animal has walked in front of the camera as i have sat in my stand watched a deer walk slowly in front of the camera and when i got the picture the deer was no where in the frame. I double checked all the settings to make sure nothing had changed and still get same result. The battery with solar combo that i got seems to hold up well during the summer and fall months in terms of i haven't had to charge it at all thus far even though it does not get a lot of sun. So for battery life i give it 4 stars as i cannot say how it will work during the cold winter months. I wish the camera had better quality pictures even for SD as it is almost worthless unless you pay for the HD or take the card out and bring it down which the point is to not have to do that. I could really understand paying for videos being sent (which this camera does not do) and having a subscription but pictures should be better quality. I have not had to use tech support so i cannot state how good that is.*Update 30oct2024*This review is for the product/customer care itself and if the seller is affiliated i.e works and is paid for by spypoint than this is a review for them as well. 1st of all i have not had 1 spypoint camera last more than a year so if you are looking for a year round camera this wont be it. Out of 4 cameras 2 failed within a month 1 i got a a replacement and the most recent one i cant get anything back for it. I went through customer service and they kept wanting me to go back and forth where the camera was to keep troubleshooting instead of just refunding me the money for the camera and the plan. Camera was hard broke and just wanted to make excuses so it would go over the warranty time and wouldn't have to pay at all. I made sure they noted that i started this complaint way before the time went over just in case but i could not get anywhere. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told to hold a moment and i said that was fine. They came back and said the manager is already on a phone call and i said i have no problem waiting because i was off that day and hunting season had not started yet. After about 5 minutes he came back and said the supervisor would have to call me back and again i said i could wait not a problem to which they said they cant transfer people over. So they could in the beginning then all the sudden they could not anymore and needed to call me back so we went back and forth for a while many times i told them to not call me but contact me via email due to my schedule. They quickly copied and pasted 2 different paragraphs and closed out the conversation (this was done with there messaging system online) luckily for me before they closed the chat out i managed to screen capture all of the conversation with the exception of the last 2 things they pasted in and closed out. I caught a bit of what they pasted and it was not professional at all and the fact they copied and pasted that means they do this often. I would get numerous calls through all hours of the day to the point of harrasment and when i would answer i would tell them to contact me via email and i would go about my day. Never was contacted so i reached out to senior level folks for spypoint and the only one to reach back is Michael Sia who is the Web Marketing Director at Spypoint and stated he would look into it and he would be out for the next few days and he would contact me once he was back. Suprise suprise he never reached back out and i have emailed that same tier group a few times since and still no response. This company does not care about customers and although its nice for a free subscription this does not compensate terrible customer service

I’m really liking it so far. We didn’t get this as a trail cam for hunting. I got it for security on a set of chicken houses that we can’t see from our house. This notifies me if anyone drives up. Vehicle identification at night is non existent because of lights but at least I know if someone is down there and I can go check if needed. Day time pics have really good range. It can detect movement from all the way at the front of the houses. It even catches some good deer shots. I paid for the unlimited plan since I went through 100 pics in like 5 days. One thing I wish it had was an on demand. Like I could tell it to take a pic from my phone so I had a live shot.

I bought a set of 4 of these about a year and a half ago. Setting them up and getting the service plan was all pretty easily accomplished. Once they were out in the field, they mostly were pretty consistent. A few times, I had to go reset one of them or reposition for better sunlight.After 1 year of use in Texas, all four had stopped working completely. Two of them had taken on so much water that when I opened up the cases water actually spilled out. Customer service was very polite about it and replaced all 4. Now with the second batch, one was dead on arrival and one of the others doesn't seem to be holding a charge like the rest of them.SUMMARY: I was hoping for this price point to get a little more reliability out of the product. I don't really have faith that these things will last more than a season or so at a time.

Got this as a gift and they Loved it! Quick and easy set up, flawless operation. Charge has been staying , even though weather has been cloudy and winter snow. Sure beats constantly buying lithium batteries!
