Easy to Follow - Helpful
Home Healthcare Business Startup on a Budget: How to Start, Run and Grow Your Own Home Care, Senior Care and Home Health Care Company by Cindy Grace. This book was easy-to-follow and well-organized. I liked how the chapters were organized, such as 'Discovering Clients" and "Marketing Plan". For those who are considering starting up their own healthcare business, this book makes it easier to do. What's also good about this topic overall, is it's a growing industry and so an interest in this type of business makes a lot of sense. What else I liked about this book is how there are various scenarios laid out. For example, "Hospice Care Business from Home". These scenarios describe how a healthcare business can be used in different situations. What else I thought was helpful was "Crafting a Brand Identity". This section discusses the ways that one could stand out from the crowds. Billing, Payment, Policies, and Procedures are also covered. For those who are seeking a book that clearly explains the steps needed to get from Point A to Point B in the home healthcare business, this one is a good one to pick up, read, and refer back to again and again.

Compassion and care for personal and profitable gain
The reality is that the elderly population in the United States continues to grow every year. This will mean a continually growing field of care for a growing population.Cindy Grace outlines the importance of this care on the personal, practical, profitable, medical, and familial levels. The bottom line comes down to having the heart for it, which she clearly does, as demonstrated in the book with her own personal experiences in caregiving for her family through to creating, sustaining, and maintaining a home health care business. Some important things that are included are governmental guidance, personal consideration, types of care, employees, etc.Overall, a good read for a potential business and a reminder that we all get old and will need help.

Very informative book especially for those of us on a budget
Home health care is the new frontier in the health care industry for the 21st century. I have been seeing this trend growing year after year. With the ever-growing aging population, this home health care sector is one of those lines of business that has truly unlimited potentials. I am glad to see the author took the time to explain the steps one can take and get started in this business even with limited budget. This book is well written, It seems like the author has commanding knowledge about the topic. I wish the book talked a little more about each of the State requirements a little more in-depth, but I guess that part can be found online by a quick search.
