SB Trays Folding Bamboo Bed Tray: Serve breakfast in bed or use as a TV table, laptop computer tray or serving platter

I eat dinner on the couch while watching TV. This has made is a lot easier to do so, especially with hot dishes. The legs stay up until you pull them down and don't just dangle and get in your way like other trays I've read about. I find I need to put a throw pillow under the tray for more stability but I think that depends on how big one's body is. I'm on the small side.The reason for the four stars is that the finish on the tray looks and feel porous and easily stained. I am just guessing about that, but it's not slick at all. I could put a finish on it for more protection but shouldn't have to. It's not that I want it to be slippery because I actually put a rubbery material (the kind you put under throw rugs) on it so my dishes will stay in place and hopefully not stain the tray.All in all it is very handy and I am glad I purchased it.

Was super excited to have received this, but then to find out it was cracked... Contacted the seller right away to see if they can send me a replacement and they responded within 24 hrs. Customer Service, great.However, during the waiting period I tried this out and also looked around some more and decided to purchase a different tray from elsewhere.I didn’t really like the edges of this tray as I’m mainly using this as a computer desk so I can lay in bed and work. The edges hurts my writs when I’m using the mouse as it’s not flat. And for me, the dimensions are too small, I can barely move my mouse around. This may not be true for ppl with smaller computers, don’t use a mouse, or use this tray for other purposes.The feel and quality of the bamboo material is pretty nice itself, but be careful, there may be a splinter here and there. It’s not polished/covered in another coating to prevent the wood splinters.

A good bed tray for the price. This bed tray is significantly more solid and sturdy than similarly priced items I could find locally. The flat surface does not give or warp, the bamboo is smooth to the touch, and, best of all, the legs stay open when you open them. This is a good basic to have on hand when a family member is sick or when you yourself are feeling like enjoying a lazy weekend morning in bed.A locking mechanism on the tray would have elevated the rating to five stars. Joints can loosen over time.

It is what it is. Came as advertised. It's a folding tray. Nothing much special. Legs are a little looser than I was expecting which is why I went 4 instead of 5 stars. I was hoping it would fit on the couch with me so I could eat without dropping food on the couch. Doesn't work well unless you sit straight up. Not a comfortable position for watching tv.

This is a great produce. I only gave it 4 stars because it is a little smaller than expected but it works perfectly for what I needed. The surfaces and fit and finish of all the parts is near perfect so I would highly recommend it for anyone less that 240 pounds. The price is very good for what you get.

Bought this as a Christmas gift and my grandmother loves it. When it comes to technology her children normally provide what she needs but she was so happy with the Bed tray because her favorite seat while watching movies is on the ground on a blanket and without a table eating is not ideal. When I asked her if liked it, she said she loves it and uses it in bed and and her favorite position in the living room. She told me no one ever thought of something so convenient to give her. It looked very sturdy with no issues. If you want to give this to a loved one I highly recommend it.

We were hoping to use these trays as TV trays for eating on our sofa. However, the "front" part of the legs needs more support than our sofa can provide, so they won't really work for this use. However, they are so attractive and so well made that we are keeping them anyway. WIth the legs folded up, they make perfect serving trays. And when the time comes that we really need bed trays, they will be perfect.Meanwhile, we have ordered a set of two TV trays from Mission Woodworkers that look ideal.

Great product. Study and ready-to-go right out of the box. Great for hubby who is recovering from surgery and needs to rest in our adjustable bed. Holds a 10 inch plate, a cup of coffee, and a small plate with a little room to spare. Has a nice lip so items don't fall off, but the lip is low enough to provide for easy eating.

The tray I received was defective. They sent a new one right away and it's great!
