Opening thoughtsI ordered this product with a bit of trepidation due to some of the negative reviews that were consistent in the reviewer’s opinion on scent. The positive reviews were good. I was also impressed by the respectful way the manufacturer responded to the negative reviews I just had to try the product out. The complaints seem to have centered around folks thinking the Incense smelled like soap and were overly strong. So I thought I would right a review after using each scent included in the package. I supposed that would be a fairer way of rating the product and be more balanced. But I ask you dear reader to temper how you consider my review. I am an experienced user of Incense and use stronger or more gentle scents depending on the occasion. I will indicate if the Incense being reviewed has a strong or weak aroma to me. Also each person has their own experience with aroma and own response to any given smell. Remember the smell is in the nose of the smeller. You may love something I cannot abide.I use Incense on an almost daily basis during meditation or to freshen up the rook I am in. I have used stick Incense, cone Incense, resin Incense, Tibetan stick Incense, powder Incense and aromatic grasses (NO not that kind of grass). I have been burning Incense for well over thirty years and do have strong opinions of what I like and do not like. A note on burn time. since I burned only one stick from each pack and the conditions in the room varied each time I burned one (a fan may have been in use when burning one kind and no fan another. Each situation affecting burn rate) but I believe that this will give you a rough idea of burn time.Product reviewThe product arrived quickly in a box ,all elements were in the box in a twist tied clear bag. The smell from the bag was strong. This is not unusual when purchasing quality Incense.The bags that contain the sticks were well sealed and labeled with the type of Incense contained inside. There were also some little free gifts inside and that was a nice touch.A note on stick length. I find that stick length is a poor measure of quality. The stick may measure 10” long and have 4” of Incense. Or 9” long with 8” of Incense. but that still does not tell the story. How long does it burn? Now that is what matters. Also the amount of Incense on each stick varies from stick to stick. These are all hand made so they will not be uniform. Many manufacturers are not even stating how many sticks in a pack but provide how many grams are in each pack. They may or may not provide the range of sticks that are in each pack. For instance 5gr per pack 70 to 80 sticks. I prefer the weight method myself since it gives the actual amount of usable product in each box.1. VANILLA Nice fragrance mild in strength and pleasant. Burn seemed constant. Burn time a long 70 minutes. Burns clean with little ash. Scent lingers gently in the back ground for several hours. Rating 42. EUCALYPTUS Nice Scent very mild aroma also pleasant burn time 33 minutes’ burn appears constant. Burns clean with moderate amount of ash. Aroma lingered for a long pleasant time. I was surprised that such a mild smell stayed as my welcomed guest for so long. Rating 53. PATCHOULI Excellent mildly strong aroma. Burn tine 59 minutes. Burns clean with little ash. A nexcellent Incense. I loved it!Rating 54. MYRRH Nice scent mild. It could use a little boost to make it more attractive. That said. It is very pleasant. Burn time 45 minutes. Burns well with a moderate amount of ash.Rating 45. POTPOURRI Relatively strong pleasant Perfume like fragrance, lingers in the background as a intriguing finish for a short while. Long burn time of a little over 90 minutes.Rating 46. SAGE A pleasant light aroma, too light to m y liking. Seemed to burn well with very little ash. Burn time 53 minutes.Rating 37. FRANKINCENSE A mildly strong and complex acent. This is an outstanding Incense that is relaxing and invigorating at the same time. it fills and takes over the room putting its arms around you and not letting go. WOW! I really, really like this one, I could burn this one, one after another. It burns well. I see no flaws in this one at all. This could easily be this companies signature scent. It burns a little fast with a fair amount of smoke that really puts the aroma out into the room. I cannot say enough about this one so I will stop here. Burn time a too short 34 minutes.Rating 5+8. HERBAL A soft almost too soft smell. A scent that lingers like an old memory in the background. Needs to have a little more personality and be less of the wallflower that it is. Burn time 55 minutes.Rating. 49. FRANKINCENSE AND MYRRH A mildly strong scent, but VERY pleasant to have around. It does take command of the room very quickly. Smoke output is fairly heavy but not a negative to the product. Ash is minimal. Burn time 31 minutes.Rating 410. EGYPTIAN GODDES A strong but pleasant sweet scent. Burns well leaves very little ash. Aroma lingers nicely in the background. Burn time 85 minutes.Rating 411. SANDALWOOD Attractive aroma burns well with moderate ash. Aroma lingers lightly in the background for hours. Burn rate 31 minutes.Rating 412. BALSAMER Mildly strong sweet aroma. Gives off a fairly heavy amount of smoke. Burns well with moderate ash. Odor lingers in the background for a very short period of time then sneaks away silently into the night leaving you wonder why it departed? Was it something I said? Burn time 50 minutesRating 413. MAG CHAMIPA A very gentle scent that is difficult to pick up. Burn time 40 minutes. It does not linger, but runs away once its work is done. this scent is way too gentle for my liking.Rating 2Average rating 53/`3=4.1Average burn time. 676/13= 32 minutedI have been through this entire set of incense and have found nothing of an overly or strong odor or a smell that even remotely reminds me of soap. As noted above some aromas were strong but nothing that would even make me think for a second to put the stick out and/or the need for me to leave the room. Most aromas hung around for a good length of time. some even into the next day. However, they were so pleasant I welcomed their company. My advice to the manufacture of this fine product is that they also need to bring to market single packs of the incense. This will allow folks to be repeat customers as their favorite scents are used up but may have no need to reorder the entire set to get their favorite scent. So my final word on the product is, that I am very happy I purchased the product and would do so again. I would also recommend a friend to purchase the product with confidence.DISCLAIMER!!! As I stated earlier this is a SUBJECTIVE REVIEW as opposed to an OBJECTIVE REVIEW. The only two instruments used to measure anything were my nose and a clock. My nose can only be a subjective witness but the clock is law. However, for a burn time to be accurate I would need to burn each stick in ten sets in an environmentally controlled room. My library/office is not such a room. This review can only give you my personal opinion based on years of my subjective smelling of thousands of different incenses. Please forgive any misspellings. I have had a few people complain about that in the past. I am legally blind and an author but cut me a break, one can only catch so much. Aoom Text is a great help but if the word sounds right even if it is spelled wrong, well I just take it as correct. This is probably my 8th purchase of the 120 Variety Pack and probably won’t be my last. It’s a great product and we love the fact it is a small business in the USA!

I love this incense. It's not overpowering. Very relaxing and calming. Thank you again. I'm pleased, as always.

I have been an Amazon shopper for longer than I'd like to be and after hundreds of emails begging for me to rate, I am doing it now--because of how delicious this product is.I have a really sensitive smeller, and have been using incense exclusively to perfume my surroundings for decades. I love a perfumed room, I just can't take chemical smells and fake smells and overwhelming smells. I've been on the hunt for several years, to find a really good, pure incense on this site,--and while I have found a few--this one knocks those incenses out of the park.I was looking for REAL incense, made with real stuff. How hard can it be to make REAL incense? I wanted to experience that and smell it for myself. And from what my nose is telling me, this is it. Incense nirvana.I've never--in the decades I've been burning incense (cone and stick) --have had a stick incense burn this long, and this cleanly, and have a lovely, natural, deep and satisfying scent linger for so long. Even the ashes are clean and compact. I've never seen that. I didn't know it was possible in stick incense. All these years, I thought it was stick incense in general that sucked. It's that badly-made incense sucks, and it's easier to make bad incense in a stick, apparently. I'm not kidding--lighting one of these and coming back a half hour later, and it's only half burned--incredible.I'll be honest, what pulled me in and made to decide to try, is the story. So I am really hoping that there's a wonderful, business-savvy couple out there, sticking it to the man, dipping sticks in buckets in a lovely, clean facility, singing songs and drinking hot Mexican chocolate, making these lovely, rich sticks out of pure plant materials. It would be such a bonus to be able to imagine that there's REAL people out there, making something wonderful this well, and have it all be a win-win.So, Dotti, if you're reading this, if you would ever need wormwood for a new formula you want to create, I can grow you bales of the stuff.Also--packaging is very good and organized--everything is described sensually: this stick is "rich, woodsy, deep". This other stick is "passionate, invigorating". There's advice on how to store the sticks (great for newbies!). And the little extra gift with its sweet story was a nice touch, and made me feel even better for my purchase. I'll be buying these as long as Sensari makes them. GO DOTTI!

This is the only incense we buy and have been doing so for several years. The quality is superb! The scents are the best we have found. Each incense stick lasts about an hour. We would recommend this product to anyone! We find that it is a great overall value and always look forward to our product delivery!
