- Scope of delivery: You will receive 5 wire rope clamps in stirrup form (U bolt saddle clamps) of the specified size for 8.5 mm to 10 mm wire ropes, stainless steel ropes, winch ropes, natural ropes, forestry ropes & other types of rope. Size: A 18.5 mm | B 18 mm | C 20 mm | D M8 | E 16 mm | F 33 mm | G 24 mm - For an illustration of the wire rope clamp's technical dimensions, see the diagram! The size of the rope clamp should correspond to the thickness of the rope to be pressed up to max. 1.5 mm smaller! Our assortment at Constrabo also includes wire rope clips in other sizes, as well as press clamps, press sleeves, wire rope thimbles & other wire rope accessories. Material: U-shaped bracket made of steel Q235 (galvanized) with M4 thread. Clamp (clip) made of carbon steel C45 (1.0503) also galvanized. Ideal for home, garden, hobby or even sailing. Wire rope clips are used as screwable connections for ropes (rope connectors). The rope clamp (U-clamps) consists of a U-shaped screw (bracket), a yoke (clamping saddle or clamp) & two bolts. The ropes are placed in the U-screw and clamped with the help of the bolts. Certification: Steel wire rope clamp according to DIN 741 - Tested quality! If safety requirements are placed on rope connections (e.g. lifting of loads, as tensioning ropes in the building industry, in elevators, etc.), U-bolt clamps (U bolt saddle fastener) must not be used! The rope clips should only be used according to their technical parameters. Use: U Bolt Saddle Clamps are used to easily connect & secure wire ropes or to form a rope eye or eyebolt on a wire rope (with or without thimble). In contrast to press clamps, U-clamp terminals can be opened and reused for readjustment. If a rope eye or eyebolt is formed, corresponding thimbles can be used.
