Good quality pen. Not of old date. Smooth gel

Quite smooth to write. Justifies the price. However availability of refills in the local markets is an issue.

Very worst for writing ,

Silk is only in the name and not as smooth as even some roller ball pens. The paper must be thick if not ink will be visible in the the back side of the paper. Spreads and writes like an 0.7mm pen. Not water proof and hence will take couple of seconds to completely dry. Suggested to avoid and go for better options.
