I searched all over for extra padding in the Graco pack n play. My 9 month old daughter sleeps in the pack n play often. I wanted to find something that made it more comfortable for my daughter. I was concerned about having gaps with a mini crib mattress. This fits snugly in the pack n play with no gaps. It makes the surface softer, but it is still firm. The pack n play sheet also fits tightly on this. Beware...the foam has a very strong smell when you first get it. I took the cover off to wash it to help with the smell and the material to the cover started to unravel. I had to cut all kinds of strings off to prevent them from getting caught in the zippers. The material to the cover could have been better, but is it still usable. The smell is starting to wear off and I've had it a little over a month. I imagine with continued use the smell will go away. While my daughter isn't sleeping through the night, I think this helped her to sleep longer. She slept much better the first night we used it.Update 5/25Mamadoo has contacted me regarding the minor problems I had with the product. They advised the foam is freshly cut for the current orders, so that is why the strong smell is there. As I said in my review, the smell is fading. I was also pleased they offered me a $5 credit for the problem I had with the cover. They said they are addressing this issue to improve the quality of the product. This company seems to be concerned about providing good customer service.

I looked and looked for something more comfortable then the standard mattress my daughters pack and play came with. After looked for several weeks I learned of this product and had to give it a try. We have had it 18 months now and still love it. It can be difficult to put a sheet on but to be honest I would rather have a tight sheet than a lose one. There aren't any gaps to be worried about and it travels really well. I do wish there was a case for it or something but we make do. My daughter sleeps so much better now when we take trips. I can't explain what a life saver this has been when everyone is getting a good nights sleep. Thank you MamaDoo this will be by shower gift for years to come and I am spreading the word to all my friends.Add to my review. I have had this now 3 years. It has been used by 2 of my own kids and borrowed by a couple of my friends for their own children. It is still holding up well. We even recently took it on a trip with us across the country, in and out of hotels and family members homes. It is in great shape and still has plenty of use left!

I love the design, firmness/not too soft and not too firm, removable cover so you can wash it or air the foam before using(even though it did not smell strong at all I decided to keep it out in fresh air for a few days and wash the cover prior to using it. I wish it was made out of healthier option of materials, but this topper fits great in our play pen (26x38") and folds so we can take it anywhere we go. I wish it was organic, but the organic option (naturepedic) was too small for us. This topper is really nice and I am glad I got it. It's just for travel so I will have to just deal with the fact that its foam and maybe get an organic pad to put on top of. If you don't care about the materials it's made of you don't even need a sheet on it as the cover is cotton - very cozy and soft to the touch.

I bought this mattress for our Graco pack n play, We love it! It fits perfectly, you have to just kind of tuck in the corners, but fits nice and snug with no big gaps. The cloth outer shell of pad is removable, with zipper openings, and is easy to wash. We love that it folds up for easy storage and travel. We have used our playard many times to travel with, and the mattress that comes with it is fine for play, but this pad made all the difference in how our little one slept. (Lets face it, babies never sleep as well on vacation anyway, but then we stick them in the portable playard with a thin mattress...that equals no sleep for anyone)When we first opened the package, it did have a slight odor of new foam, which quickly disapeared after a few days. (we had previously bought another vinyl covered mattress, which smelled horrible and was torn, so we returned it) Quick tip: just open it and air it out before you travel. Also the mattress cover fits loose at first, just wash it, and it will fit more snug, the company allowed for shrinkage.**The only thing that could make this even better, a vinyl or nylon carrying bag to keep it clean when storing and traveling. (So there is an idea for MamaDoo)

We are using our grace Pack and Play as a crib so I wanted to invest in a good, comfortable mattress for our now 7 month old. Purchased this one based on its great reviews and I am glad I did. It fits our standard play yard perfectly, no gaps at all and I can still use my regular pack and play yard sheets. I just use the sheet over the mattress topper and fit it snuggly into the pack and play, I tore a corner of one sheet trying to fit the topper and the original flat mattress pad that comes in the pack in plays but it was a tight squeeze. Works fine just over the topper, I was even able to use the cheaper walmart $10/for 2 sheets, always good to have backup sheets! mattress topper is also removable and washable which is great, zips right off and into the washer, air dry to prevent shrinking. overall great product, saves us money in the long run, we are hoping to get another year out of this before we get into a toddler bed:)

Worth every penny. One of my favourite baby/toddler purchases. Turns her awful hard playpen into a comfortable bed! We take this everywhere because of how small it folds up. If you are on the fence about buying this...BUY IT. You won't regret it.

I purchased this topper for my granddaughter since we were going to be travelling as a family over the Christmas holidays. She slept very soundly in her play yard even though she was in a strange place (which means her parents had a great sleep too). I chose this topper because it's free of flame retardants, the cover is removable and washable and it's very portable. This lovely topper did not disappoint and I highly recommend it!

I took a chance that it didn't smell like chemicals as some of the reviews said it was fine. It smelt awful. I got a headache instantly from sniffing it. I aired it out and washed the cover- did not help. I wouldn't let my child sleep on that. It did fit the pack and play well though and is convenient that it folds up.

My daughter previously hated sleeping in her pack and play, and as she's using it a few days a week at daycare, this solved all her napping issues.

Best investment to travel to grandparents house with a play pen... Added comfort for that hard play pen. Worth every penny. Fits most play pens and also fits our Phil and Ted travel crib
