Good mount... issues to keep in mind before buying.
The product is a good product, particularly if you have two of the same monitors.PROS:* Well made, all the parts to put it together and tools you will need are included.* Easy to put together.* Running two monitors with my laptop as a 3rd screen.* Works with my ACER and HP ProBook from workCONS:* Not all monitors mount at the same place on the back and there is no adjustment to adjust the vertical height of one monitor versus the other.* Max height you can put the middle of the monitor above the desk is limited to the length of the post, about 12 inches. Wish the post was 4-6 inches higher.* Supplied USB 3.0 cable from docking station to laptop should be longer. I think the supplied one was 2 ft. I needed 4...

Pole is too short, and I'm not that tall
I am 5' 9" and using this for my Uplift desk (adjustable desk height for sitting or standing). I find the mounting pole is about 4 inches too short. It barely raises my monitors off the desktop and does not allow the monitors to be plumb with one another (I have to angle the monitors to be able to see them comfortably. So I find fault with the claim that these work for standing desks (unless you are maybe 5' 6" or shorter).I also do not like how the tensioners are adjusted (I.e., if you need to change the angle of the monitor). There is an allen key that is barely long enough to reach the bolt-head, and you really have to crank the sucker down if you don't want the monitor to move. They should change these to knobs that can be hand adjusted. One last issue is that the arms are not independently height adjustable. So you either need two identical monitors, or you get accustomed to having to readjust your focus when mousing between screens. It would be great if there were one more articulation point for independent height adjustments.FWIW The monitors I am using are: a Cisco Dx80 Telepresence and a Dell U2413F

is sturdy and simple
This is a very well made product. Mounted two monitors very well, is sturdy and simple.I was very impressed with the build quality of this mount. It really cleared up my desk! That being said the mounting pole could be higher/longer. It might be a good option or aftermarket accessory for Fleximounts to offer different length pieces for this purpose, since it is its own part.

Very well made. It does not go as high as I would have liked. I wanted to be able to stand at times to work. I still make it work. I just adjust the pivot to the screen position that allows you to stand and work. It's affordable alternative to the vari desk for now.

Great for Cubicles
I'll come back and update if I have problems - but I bought 30 of these for some tight call center stations. I searched for a while to find one where the bottom plate can be removed and attached from the front... most of them require the screws to be attached from the back which is fine for a standard desk, but for cubicles, that would require you to loosen the worksurface so you can pull it away from the cubicle panel in order to squeeze the big bracket around the desk. This one lets you just drop the top plate down, then you can come underneath and attach the bottom plate and screw it down to tighten. I did pick up some T-Handle 4mm wrenches to speed the process. The height adjustment was an added bonus in that my users can now just flip a lever to adjust to their desired height, rather than asking one of us with tools to come fix it for them. So far, we're happy with them and they look great!

These mounts feel super sturdy and feel like they could hold up any monitor and were pretty easy to assemble. That's where the good points end. When I went to mount my monitors, they couldn't hold up the lighter of my two monitors and instantly began to tilt. I would easily say that the lightest of my monitors doesn't weigh more than 7 pounds. I thought I could adjust the screw but when I to try and tighten the screw, I found it tightened to it's max already.

Unhappy, much better now.........
Had an issue with one of the swivels not keeping tight, sent several emails to customer service without a single response. Great product lousy customer service. The update is that once I established contact with these folks they sent me an entire new unit after I only asked for the defective component. Well done, that's the kind of customer service that counts the most. Thank you.
