Use those scraps, learn great new approaches to processing left-over fabrics
This is a great book, if you have oodles of scraps from all your quilting projects over the years, a I do. I bought this book because I'm taking a class with the author. Her system of cutting your scraps into standard sizes as you go, and sewing half-square-triangle or 4-patch units as sew-on/sew-off 'leaders and enders' is great for getting more quilts done AND using all your leftover fabrics. If you are interested in her methods, you should browse several of her books to see which one has the most quilts that you like. This is not a book for someone who buys just the amount of fabric she needs for each quilt, or who throws away her leftover fabric scraps, or for the obsessive type who has to have everything 'matchy-matchy'. These quilts combine many styles of fabrics in one quilt--30's with Civil War era, with contemporary, etc. with abandon--it's liberating!

Another Bonnie Triumph
I imagine most people would have come across at least one of Bonnie's quilt patterns by now. She is a prodigious designer, quilt maker and teacher. Her Scrappy Trips was a sensation online. This is her fifth book in six years and just like the others is full of her signature scrappy, happy designs. Everything is well laid out, explained in a friendly, easy to understand way, and there are plenty of diagrams and pictures. I live in Australia, so the digital Kindle download was perfect for me - instant gratification at a great price. Thanks Bonnie!!

queen of scrap quilting!
i am so happy that bonnie's new book is out as a kindle edition!...i hope this becomes a new tradition!...her take on leaders and enders has revolutionized the quilting process for me...making quilts effortlessly, in between making quilts!...i really like the diagrammed summaries included at the end of each project for a quick review or glance while in the midst of construction...her tips, suggestions and patterns make taming scraps and turning them into beautiful quilts easy and attainable for both beginner and experienced quilters!

A must have quilt book!
I love Bonnie Hunters books and her blog. Her patterns are easy to follow and make wonderful use of whatever you have on hand. Any thrifty or scrappy quilter will be thrilled by the ideas in this book. And those quilters like me who buy fabric rather than use our stashes will also be inspired.

Another Bonnie book that's a winner!
Bonnie knocks one out of the park again with one of her packed with ideas quilt books! I had originally thought I wouldn't need to add this book to my quilt library...but I'm SO glad I did as there are several of Bonnie's signature scrappy projects that I NEED to make!

Great Bonnie Hunter classic.
Very good book with lots of ideas. Because all the quilts are from scraps, they all turn out a little differently but she gives lots of information about what values to use.
