Relaxdays Dark Green Water Fountain, Antique Look, Column with Faucet & Basin, HWD: 80 x 28 x 32 cm

I came across this typical English garden-style faucet (last photo. Please let me remind you this is not this product) in the beautiful Parc Monceau in Paris. I wanted to somehow bring it to my own garden, so I found what you might call a scaled-down version on Amazon UK, and promptly purchased it and installed it in my garden. I replaced the original with a double faucet, also purchased on Amazon UK, for the hand washing and to supply water to the angel fountain, and the diameter also meets Japanese standards, so it was a double delight. I'm quite happy with the color and shape, and my previously not-so-beautiful water supply has become very elegant.

WHILST I AM HAPPY ENOUGH WITH THIS IT COMES WITH PROBLEMS UNLESS YOU ARE COMPETENT TO DO WATER CONNECTIONS WHICH FORTUNATELY I AM. THE FITTING THAT COMES WITH IT TO CONNECT THE TAP DOES NOT FIT BUT CAN BE REPLACED. ITS A PITY THAT IT HAS NOT BEEN DESIGNED BETTER AND HAVE FITTING OPTIONS INCLUDED WITH IT BUT JUST AS IMPORTANT IT SHOULD BE EMPHASISED TO BUYERS THAT THIS PRODUCT NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED BY A COMPETENT PERSON IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL LOCAL WATER LAWS/CODES ETC. THAT IT WILL NEED ADDITIONAL FITTINGS TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY TO HAVE IT INSTALLED AND MAY NEED FOR A COMPETENT PERSON TO BE PAID TO INSTALL IT IF ONE IS OTHERWISE NOT AVAILABLE. ITS COMES WITH A CHILDS QUALITY SCHEMATIC DRAWING OF ABOUT 4INCHES SQUARE , NOTHING ELSE. NOT A WORD. IT IS OVERPRICED EASILY BY 40% , BUT THERE IS NO OTHERS ON THE MARKET TO COMPETE , BUT I NOTE IT IS NOW NO LONGER AVAILABLE AND NO REVIEWS HAVE BEEN POSTED IN THE UK. IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND LIKE THIS AS I DO THEN YOU MIGHT THINK OF BUYING IT. OTHERWISE TAKE CARE AS YOU MAY BE VERY DISAPPOINTED AND EVEN MORE OUT OF POCKET TO HAVE IT FITTED FOR YOU. GIVEN HOW IT IS DESCRIBED AND SOLD I HAVE STARRED IT ACCORDINGLY.

The fountain was very good value for money and quality. Its colour blends perfectly with the landscape and it gives a romantic look to the whole garden.
