Fabulous Product
This was a brilliant buy. I was nervous buying a material roof box but had no worries. It’s sturdy roomy and a nice height . I had two hard case medium cases in it plus two jammed packed large size rucksacks . 8 large towels . 4 pairs of shoes and various coats for the Great British Weather plus a few extra shopping bags with various last minute bits and pieces in them .We had a few of those heavy summer downpours . Not one single drop of rain got in. There are flaps with Velcro going around the zip . Nothing gets in . Flaps don’t flap up with any force of wind you physically need to lift them by releasing the Velcro .I installed it on my own . Simple. Putting the strap through the loop once pulled tight is a bit tricky but needed to hold the tension so expected . Probably took One hour from putting it on to filling it to adjusting it shape by stuffing with towels and coats to get it even . I did this for my own satisfaction. Having driven from Dundee to Cornwall with an overnight stop . It’s not necessary. Once closed and strapped down it stays in place no matter the shape .I put a case and bags in each corner to give it shape and stuffed with the towels to give it equal height . Again on reflection that wasn’t really necessary as it holds firmly no matter how you fill it.I had crossbars but single bars would work fine as it will sit inside the bars on top of roof.I would suggest driving one to two miles to let spaces fill naturally with bit of movement. Purely so you don’t get a fright if there’s some noise as a pice of luggage settles into a space. After the first 380 miles and a stopover absolutely no movement. Then had to open as of course weather changes and needed coats . Packed up next day and drove another 250 miles . No shift , no slackening , just perfect .I would suggest buying a padlock so you can put through zip ends for security so you can leave outside overnight.Through the holiday removed from roof and folded neatly and stored under a bed .Each time it rained water run off and dried very quickly . No soggyness or sag due to heavy rain. The nature of the material allows it to run off .I had no marks on the top of my roof after using this either .Sturdy fabulous product . It is a brilliant buy at a fraction of the price of a solid box . 10/10 from us . Highly recommend.

What a buy!!
I actually bought this to store a 12ft pool tarp in over the colder months. This until is massive. Couldn't be happier with the purchase. The quality is brilliant, it's robust, waterproof and adaptable for lots of uses.

Heavy duty robust construction
October 2022 update: Drove for 10 hours in constant torrential rain, 300 miles motorway + A roads. Contents dry as a bone.Original review: Purchased this roof bag after tirelessly looking at many roof bags ranging from £40-£150.This is the best bag you can buy for a reasonable price. The straps make the bag feel really secure. The zip is heavy duty. The flap is large and has good quality Velcro. It didn’t rain on my trip so I can’t comment on waterproofing, although I wouldn’t be worried. The PVC is thick and heavy duty. The bag added no noticeable increase in noise at speeds below 50mph, on motorways it was a little noticeable, but it’s the wind noise from having a large item on your roof, not the bag it’s self. The straps have tabs which hold the excess strap once you’ve tightened it to prevent flapping, these worked great.I purchased a roof rack for the bag to sit on, I found this supported it better and allowed for easier attachment. Although fitting it by the manufacturers recommended fitting method (direct on the roof) would work just as well.Easiest way to use the bag I found was to use 4 carry-on sized suit cases to put in the bottom which opens the bag, then put softer items in bags for life on top. This way the bag can retain its shape better and stops it flapping.

Perfect for what we needed!
So helpful for our UK holiday with young kids! We bought a non slip mat to put under it on our panoramic roof, and it moved backwards very slightly on the motorway but was secure enough that we weren’t worried. I’d just suggest filling it out (we stuffed around the sides of our luggage with nappy packs, coats, towels etc) as we found that better.

Excellent
I'm honestly surprised by how great this is for the price. Easily fitted 4 fold flat camping chairs, 4 sleepin bags, 6 pillows, 4 rucksacks, 3 blankets, 2 single yand a double blow up bed and coats in it. It's a bit tricky to pull the straps tight but very secure once it's done. It's a bit noisy when you go over 50 but not overly bothersome with the windows closed.

Straps broke and leaked
I had high hopes for this roofbag, however one of the straps broke on the first use and the bag filled with water when it rained. The instruction video invites you to use the strength of Hercules when tightening the straps, but I am not Hercules, I am a mere mortal with average strength at best and it ripped where it attaches to the bag. I can only award one star as the product failed on the first use. I have tried contacting the seller, however the only option I have is to return it.I do have a fair amount of experience with roofbags and I know how to use the properly- I was in Wales in 2023 when the hurricane hit, I was on the southwest coast and the weather was the worst I've ever experienced and the previous roofbag didn't let a drop in, so I know how to use roofbags.

Very spacious roof bag
Very impressed with how much I could fit in the bag. Great for going camping. Easily fitted on to the roof bars of my c4 cactus. Used for a few trips now and feels very secure. Only downside is it doesn't come with a strorage bag but fits into a carrier bag when folded.
