Delish! No HARD lumps or graininess. All organic. No additives. Fast delivery
This nutritious creamy coconut milk is delicious! It's ALL organic (not some of it organic and some not, like some other brands that list ingredients as "organic coconut, coconut")! It has no added ingredients, only coconut, but is creamy enough and tasty, without any thickeners or flavorings. That's unique and fabulous! Love the taste & nutrition value! Regarding comments from others who write that it's lumpy: If you don't use hot liquid and stir it in with a spoon, tiny specks of "lumps" will float to the top, but they will stir into the hot liquid if you continue stirring. However, they don't effect the great smoothness at all. They're so soft that even when I only lightly moistening the powder, to taste it before it dissolved, it instantly melted in my mouth! No graininess! If you didn't look at it, you'd never notice those tiny specks when drinking it. If I leave my coffee sit & cool too much, before stirring, there's a little bit that wants to turn into widely scattered 1/16 inch white dots. They all go away if I stir with a spoon while it's very hot. The hotter the coffee, the quicker and more thoroughly they dissolve. If I wanted to use it as a cold beverage or cold ingredient in a recipe, I'd dissolve it in a bit of very hot liquid, let it cool, then add cold liquid. Taste-wise, I wish it was more coconutty in flavor but it's the natural flavor and I'm so glad it's real coconut and not flavor enhanced. I wouldn't buy a flavored one, especially a "naturally flavored" one. "Natural flavor" mean's only that the flavor originated from a naturally made source but hides the source from us. This has no "natural flavors" added. I refuse to buy anything with "natural flavors" in it. All these qualities are so hard to find and I'm writing my enthusiastic review because I'm so grateful they grow this organically and that it only has coconuts in it! That, plus the fact that it has no graininess, and I think it tastes great, spurred me to write ASAP, because I want this product to remain available! It arrived on schedule & in perfect condition and it's a large amount in an all white re-useable and recyclable plastic jar (jar is 5 1/4 in. high by 4 1/4 in. dia. The powder was packed tight, so the powder volume in the jar had settled to about 3 3/4 in. high, but must have completely filled the jar when jar when first filled, because, it looked like, if I sifted it, it would be hard to get it all back in that jar, so I think it was as full as it could be. It had a shrink wrapped, non-sticky, cleanly removable label for those whi like to re-use jars, but the jar IS recyclable too. Great amount for the price and for how hard such a great product is to find. Other manufacturers of foods will state, on the front of the label that the product contains 100% of the described ingredient, but the ingredient list of that product will show a long list of other ingredients. Totally deceitful intent by the manufactures. For that reason, I wouldn't buy that product if every other ingredient were acceptable to me. But KOS is honest. I'm happy to pay for a product that's truly what I want, sold by an honest manufacturer. The most powerful way to combat deceit is to reward honesty with the purchasing power of the buyers. This is a great buy if you want delicious all organic powdered coconut milk with no added ingredients! Thanks, KOS, for a great product! I just bought my 2nd jar!

Great Product!
This is great coconut powder. I have tried others, and I keep coming back to this one. It is has a creamy texture and tastes like coconut. Also--I use a handheld frother to mix, as this powder has a soft texture, and will clump in any liquid.

Coconut Milk Powder - Works Good
Overall the product is a good product. It came very clumped up, so that would be the reason for a star deduction. The taste and consistency works perfect for mixing into my coffee for a healthier creamer alternative.

Mix with hot liquid. Even clumps dissolve easy.
Wonderful taste. Key to product is to mix it with hot liquid first. I mix up 1/3 cup of powder with 8 oz. of hot water first then pour it into my Ninja and add an additional 10 oz of tap water , blend for about 30 seconds and refrigerate. It is the best tasting coconut milk ever. More or less water depending on how you like it. I get 5 - 18-20 oz mixtures out of this jar. This equals to about 4 dollars for each 20 oz. jar. Soo good . I add some blended mixture to my morning shake.

Illegible best by date
This is the second time I have purchased this product and both times the best by date was completely illegible...on the bottom of the white container, in the palest of yellow letters that cannot be read no matter how hard you try, under whatever lights and magnification, since the crucial part of the date is atop the HDPE symbol which completely obliterates it. I use it in a blender and it does blend well, although the contents are quite lumpy and not sure how that would play out if you were to just add it to your coffee without making a blended latte such as I do, once in the morning. The only things that don't seem to blend in my version are some of the darker spices, i.e. cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. and seem to gather at the bottom of the blender. Adding a couple of drops of food grade cardamom oil, and spearmint oil makes everything yummy. I also was glad to see Amazon is offering a case of 12 cans of Native Forest coconut milk from Sri Lanka for the same price as I paid when I first found it at Walmart.com, and is the only NO GUAR organic coconut milk I have found anywhere. This KOS container offers the following "foods grown in the USA and other countries" which seems a bit vague to me. Also the "serving size" is equally obscure since the "scoop" is determined to be "2 grams" which would traditionally be half a teaspoon by US dry measure, yet when I fill the "scoop" and dump it in a stainless steel 1 TBSP measure, it fills half of it..which would be 1.5 tsp by US dry measure, which would be 6 grams and dividing that by the claimed 179 "servings" would actually be about 60 "servings" and would treble the various "fat" and "sat fat" listed. That being said, I use it along with the Sri Lankan coconut milk, and have not used it for baking or "straight" but initially bought it for the organic, no guar claims since at the time of first purchase I had not yet found the Native Forest coconut milk, and had the KOS more as a backup plan. It's always handy to have powdered versions of things in case you run out. I have contacted the KOS Customer Service about these issues, but as of yet have received no reply. I hope Amazon will continue to carry the aforementioned guar-free coconut milk cans and wish you could order them using Amazon Fresh, but they are only obtainable if you use regular Amazon, and that by the case, not individually. Before discovering that NF cocomilk, I had tried making my own from organic coconut flakes and while labor intensive, and interesting, this taste comes as close to home made as I have found so far.

Good stuff
I absolutely love this stuff and have ordered it many times. I love the subtle flavor and the fact that it's friendly with my low carb lifestyle. It goes great in my morning coffee and I've also added it to my protein shakes. It does clump a little sometimes, but nothing terrible.Unfortunately, the price shot way up the last time I went to reorder and can no longer justify the cost. Why on earth did that have to happen! Oh well, what can ya do.

I will buy this again
I add this to my morning oatmeal and it adds a lovely creaminess to my breakfast. It is a little clumpy, but it mixes well.
