Duragear Bucket Dog Car Seat Cover - MicroVelvet Sand

Color of the Bucket Dog Car Seat is perfect. Cover was relatively easy to install. I put one seat cover on the passenger side, and today I covered up the driver's side. My seats are very light colored, and I have two Golden Retriever dogs, plus, I want to keep the seats looking as nice as possible in the eventuality that I DO sell the car someday. I ordered the cover for the backseat, and I have to just gear myself up to install it. Right now, I have many layers of towels, sheets, blankets, etc. covering the back seat. I will review that in another listing.

It isn't that I hate it - I bought it for a friend's new car and one of the seams failed after the allowed return date. I bought it in January . . . and it should not fall apart that fast.

I ordered 2 of these and one arrived torn. I returned it and the replacement also arrived torn in the same place. The pouch that tucks in between the bottom and back of the seat is made of nylon and will not withstand the stress caused by the weight of people and/or pets sitting on the seat. I do not recommend buying this cover unless you have a sewing machine and are willing to make repairs yourself.

Works ok. The bottom part doesn't stay on that well though. My 70 pound lab always manages to get under it no matter how I secure it.

Nice seat covers, like some others it took me a few minutes to figure out the elastic straps, bottom one has to go over the seat first (duh!), so about 5 min for the first and less than a minute for the second, they fit the seats in my frontier truck well, stay in place, nice material, dog seems happy (but then she is always happy). So good covers for a reasonable price. 4 stars is because I think they could be a bit better if the lower 2 elastic straps were made like the one that goes around the headrest with a buckle, but then they would probably cost more. I would buy these again and recommend them to others.

I just got a new car and wanted a way to keep my dog from ruining the seats. I looked at various options, even purchased and returned some car seat covers and then found the Duragear cover online. It covers the front seats well, it does not obstruct the airbags, and it it is well made, soft, comfortable and washable. Note my dog has already barfed on it. There is a strap that goes around the back of the seat, a strap that goes around the headrest, and then a strap that is supposed to go underneath the seat. Due to the way the seats are designed it is not possible to put the strap underneath the seat, however I was able to stretch it underneath the seat to the back and secure it to the EZ tuck tube that fits between the top and bottom of the seat to secure the cover. It does not slip around. I am very satisfied.

I like it, My van seat looks almost identical to the product picture. There is a strap that clips around the headrest and a strap that goes around back of the seat. My only problem is that I have nowhere to attach the strap that goes under the seat. So, the back of the seat cover stays in place, but the bottom doesn't, so my dog slides around on it and I have to continually adjust it.Other than that, I really like the material, and it's great for avoiding wet/muddy paws and scratches on the leather.I love how easy it is to take in and out of the car.
