Great playmat!
Play mat is perfect size for my 4 month old who is starting to do a lot of tummy time. No weird smell, and easy to clean. It's also soft enough to provide cushion when baby falls. Colors and pictures are very defined and eye catching for the baby!

Great Purchase
Love these mats, easy to assemble and clean. One suggestion maybe in the under the sea mat you can change the ink to black just like in the land mat, as it can be hard to see some of the white names in the sand.

If you have other Creative Baby mats you may be disappointed...
We have the animals and under water mats for my 21 month old daughter, and she LOVES them! She has learned so much from them and it’ll keep her busy day after day! So we got this mat to help her learn her alphabet. First of all, this mat doesn’t fit with the other mats because this is a 9 square mat and the other 2 I have a 4-square mats. Kind of disappointing because I wanted to lay them all out in our living room...2) the choice for words to represent the letters are poor. Bee for the letter “B”? That’s just confusing to a child who’s starting to learn. Even worse, they use “Queen Bee” for the letter “Q”! Why not “quilt” or even just “queen”? Also “Giraffe” is a poor choice for “G”. Giraffe has a “J” sound when it should be teaching the sound of “Gorilla”. If she touches the little “g” it says “Ga. Ga. Ga.” for the sound a “G” makes but then uses “Giraffe” with a “Ja” sound as an example. Very confusing.3) if she touches the pictures on the mat, it starts by using the sound the animal makes - like “Ooo-ooo-ahhh-ahhh” for monkey; or a chewing sound for the word “vegetable”; rather than saying “E is the first letter in Elephant” first. So often she moves onto the next letter after she hears the sound of the picture before she learns the valuable lesson. All in all, if you’re looking to buy one of these mats, this is not the mat I’d recommend. I’d get the animals or sea creatures first. But if you’re like me, looking to expand your mat collection because your child loves the other two so much, then this mat is worth getting. As long as you know you won’t love it as much as the others, then it won’t be a let down! :-)

The picture is coming off...
Needed a playmat for my daughter play pen - I thought this was perfect to cushion her and be slightly educational with all the animals. It's really great; except the image is now slowly starting to come off. I'm not using anything abrasive to clean it - just water and dawn soap; but its already fading. It was only purchased about a month ago :(

Great Play Mat
I bought this play mat for my 6 month old. He loves to roll and I was scared he would hurt his head on the hardwood floor. This is a great mat for him to play on. However, it doesn't come with the interactive pen and I can't find one anywhere. After putting the mat together, it looks like more pieces can be added to make it bigger but it's already a good size with the 9 included.
