Smith Network Cycling Helmet – Versatile Adult Road or MTB Bike Helmet with MIPS Technology + Zonal Koroyd Coverage – Lightweight Impact Protection for Men & Women

This seems to be a good helmet. I am glad I tried the Smith brand. I like that you can adjust the fit with the knob in the back. I like the matte look and the color pattern. I like that it comes with a little visor you can add in between the layers with the velcro. It definitely ventilates well because the wind was blowing right through the helmet to my head, which in the case of today was rather chilly.

Great helmet for gravel. You don't need a "aero" helmet for gravel. For what I paid for it, I feel it's a great value. At its full price, no. But it's generally comfortable, the straps feel fine, and adjustments work well. The adjustment wheel is a bit too thin to be easy to spin but you only spin it once, really. I would prefer helmet companies to come up with something a little more low profile, but this one isn't bad.

I recently replaced the visor that came with the helmet, after losing the original. Customer service was excellent and replaced it quickly. The helmet is light weight, good air flow and I the straps allow for secure fitting and no movement. That’s really important and you should make sure to properly fit it and secure the straps. Otherwise you’re not really protected. I have also replaced the padding, because I use it daily and sweat a lot, plus the padding improves comfort for sure. Great helmet and I paid full price and have worn it for over a year. I love the oversized visor for both sun and rain protection. It is detachable but that’s how I lost the original.Would highly recommend although I’ve never had to test the main feature, safety.

Feels and looks great and keeps my head safe.

I love my smith ski helmet so figured I'd check out the new bike helmets as well!Was between the POC octal MIPS, Smith overtake MIPS, and the Smith network MIPS. Went to sports basement to try on and the overtake did not fit my head at all. The octal fit well and was super light but I was interested in seeing the Koroyd technology in the new Smith helmets. Apparently this honeycomb structure absorbs 30% more energy than traditional helmets especially in slower sleep crashes when the normal foam wouldn't have deformed (i.e. commuting). The network has this stuff on the sides as opposed to the overtake which has it all around. I read it made the overtake helmet a bit warm which is a problem for me so I was interested in seeing the network in action. I took it on a 52 mile ride last weekend and the built in (and removable) visor worked incredibly as a sweat band and kept the sweat off my sunglasses (a problem I didn't even know I would be solving!!). Helmet looks great, fits well, is not too hot, and hopefully has extra tech inside it that will keep my noggin safe on long rides and commuting.2 issues:1) The straps are not as high quality build as the POC octal. The POC has a system where the two straps around the ear meet and then a new strap comes straight down - that felt a lot better than this system but it wasn't a deal breaker for me.2) After about 2.5 hours the vaporfit system started to get a teeny bit uncomfortable - however I think that was more of a function of my poor riding posture. On my daily commute (30 min) I don't notice this at all and barely notice the helmet on my head.

Decided to upgrade my helmet from my POC Spin helmet which never fit perfectly right. This Smith helmet looks great, fits really well, and seems very well made. Its lightweight and you don't really notice it on your head and seems aerodynamic for road biking rides - but also doesn't look out of place on the trail either. Very pleased!

Is my favorite helmet I have 3 the same and different colors

We have an engage and convoy and love how they fit my round circumference head very nicely, so I upgraded my wife’s to this.Found out this is an oval fit helmet, squeeze my wife’s head on the side and had to return.SMITH should advertise as to which models are round fit and which models are oval fit, like Specialized does. That would be helpful.BTW, as side from fitment issue, helmet seems awesome and my wife loves the color. Go for it if you have oval circumference head shape.

Casco de calidad con Mips. Pesa muy poco. No lo he probado aún pero tiene pinta que ventila bien. Trae una visera que se puede poner o quitar. Estéticamente queda muy bien el conjunto y ajusta bien. Como punto negativo diría que la correa de la parte trasera es de un plástico muy fino y no sé si muy resistente, da la sensación que esta pieza no va acorde a la calidad del resto.. el tiempo dirá.

Volevo prendere un casco con delle caratteristiche di sicurezza elevate.Dopo aver fatto diverse ricerche sono arrivato alla decisione di acquistare questo.Calzata precisa e comoda, per ora nessun problema di adattamento o altro. Sembra molto areato per cui non dovrebbe creare problemi in estate

Davvero un ottimo casco, trovato in offerta ad una settantina di euro. È davvero molto stabile, non balla lateralmente come altri modelli a parità di taglia. Leggero e molto comodo.

El casco tiene unos acabados buenísimos, se nota robusto,es muy cómodo y ligero, el MIPS y koroid es un plus, da sensación de seguridad. Tenía dudas por si optar por marcas más conocidas en el ciclismo, pero un acierto sin duda.
