I had $400 custom shoe inserts made to correct my over pronation andflat feet. They helped for the first few months but wore out quickly.The doctor said that with all the walking I do I would have to replacethem every three months. Yeah, right. I've had other store-boughtinserts but they were too flexible and didn't offer the support ofFootminders. I ordered Footminders Comfort Orthotic Arch Support Insolesfor Sport Shoes and Work Boots. They're in my walking shoes. Within aweek of daily 3-mile walks my foot and ankle pain was gone due to theproper alignment of my feet. These are high quality, rigid supports -not squishy, flimsy inserts - yet the price is a tiny fraction of what Ipaid a podiatrist to make custom inserts. I've put a pair into my clogstoo. What a relief!

I've had these insoles in my shoes for a little over a week now and they seem to be getting rid of my lower leg and knee pain associated with my flat feet. At first, the insoles felt uncomfortable and it seemed like the arch was WAY to high, but after a few days of wear, they are starting to feel normal. The insoles do a good job of promoting the correct walking motion which I believe to be the cause of my leg pain. I recently took the insoles out after wearing them a week to see the difference in my walking motion and you can instantly feel how much the insoles are helping.If you intend to wear these in running or sport shoes, I recommend wearing them in another pair of shoes first to get your foot used to the feeling of the high arch support. Also, I got a blister on the arch of my foot while wearing these during a basketball game, so I would also recommend wearing some sort of blister-preventing cream or friction block.

Followed instructions for size, but turns out they were too large even after I cut them down to size. I am a size 9 to 9.5 sometimes, but a large was too big. I recommend a size down. I gave them to my son since I ordered one for each of us so it was not to big of a problem. I should mention when I read the packet it does say for size 10 up for women, so it is the site that needs the size fixed. Overall my son likes them he uses them for flat feet and they are comfortable.

I wear a women's size 11 and ordered the large. I did have to cut it down by about an inch to fit in my shoes. I noticed that these are much wider insoles than others I have purchased, as well as the insoles that come with my shoes. And I normally get comfortable medium to wide brands like Merrell, Keen, etc. I would say these insoles would only work well for men's shoes, or very wide women's shoes. I was able to get them to fit into my widest pair of shoes (some size 11 Merrell boots), but even then I could feel the heel cup bending a little to fit. Also, when you first wear these insoles the arch support feels very pokey, not cozy. Although I will say that I wore them standing on my feet for a few hours and didn't really notice any discomfort by the end. I do like that the forefoot area is pretty thin, so it doesn't take up much room in your shoes. I probably would have returned them if I hadn't already cut them down.

I have purchased three of these, and have been happy each time. Originally I planned on switching them out between my shoes. I liked them so much, I ordered two more pairs. They give much more support than the typical insole, but are a lot less expensive than the other options out there. Highly recommended. Note that these insoles a sized a bit big, which is a good thing. When you get them, pull out your existing insoles, lay them on top of the Footminders (make sure you keep the left and right straight!) as a template, and use scissors to cut the Footminders to size. They cut easily and precisely with scissors.

My husband has wide/FLAT feet and is on his feet all day at work. He is required to wear stainless steel boots and just bought an expensive pair. Unfortunately, his new boots were killing him at work (especially where he has no arch) so he went back to wearing his OLD beat up boots. I got these insoles for him and he absolutely LOVES them! He usually wears a 9.5 so he had to trim it a little, but he came home from work after a back to back double shift and wouldn't stop thanking me for getting him these. We were skeptical before, having gone through various other insoles and these are by far the BEST insoles for him. I've even thought about buying a bunch for all his shoes. I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone.

My experience is like others I have read with bad experience. The insole fit perfect in my size 11 boot. Did not have to trim tip to fit but the arch is to far forward. Does not fit foot like it should. You cannot trim heal or the heal will not fit properly. I tried using anyways but lead to severe pain and limping. I made the mistake of wearing to work to try it. Ended up throwing in trash. Just a waste of hard earned money!!

Sadly, I have low arches and tender heels so most shoes do not provide enough support and cushioning for my feet. I have bought many different inserts to help, including Dr. Scholl's (both regular and the new custom fit orthotic inserts) and many of the other drug store brands but I had not found any that provided relief over an extended period. My wife said to just go to a foot doctor and get custom insoles but I didn't want to go to that trouble and expense. Looking for another alternative I search Amazon and found the Footminders insoles. To be honest, the Footminders didn't look a whole lot different than the others I had tried but reading the positive reviews, which described many of the foot problems I have, led me to order a pair. I have been wearing these insoles for about 2 weeks and I can say they are much better than any I have tried. They have good arch support and padding which is both firm and very comfortable (not "foam rubber" soft like some of the others. They have relieved most of my foot pain and I highly recommend them.
