A great product at a great price!
I compared this Nylon basket to others I was shopping around and compared to what this brings I kept wondering why other pet baskets were so much money? From what I see there are two options, wood and nylon. I went with the nylon because like the material more; easier to clean, put stickers on, many pocket spaces.Installation it’s very simple. And you can adjust how much it sticks out toward the bottom to level it out.I think it’s so neat that it has multiple pockets, I compared to other $30-$40 pet baskets that were just literally a basket nothing else for way more and less cute/cool depending on your gender.I don’t have the overhead umbrella set up on mine. It has its benefits, shadowing your pet or grocery depending on what you use it for. But that’s the thing, this basket came with that option, which a lot of other baskets don’t and are priced higher.Took it out on a test drive for half an hour and it was very secured. At first you will wobble just because you have to find the right balance but after that it is smooth sailing. Basket doesn’t wiggle or constantly bounces. My dog at first was a bit nervous because he looked like he wanted to jump out but he didn’t he just looked like it and after a few minutes with the wind in his car he sat down and enjoyed the ride. And it freaking brings a secure latch for your dog also, which a lot of other higher priced basket didn’t! Man solid product. I’ll be back a few months from now to update on the durability. First impressions, if received without any defects because let’s face it sometimes people get a messed up version of a product it just happens unfortunately, but mine didn’t and I just think it currently holds a 5 star review.

Functional
The media could not be loaded. It’s a functional pet carrier it has a club so you can secure your furry friend. Definitely need a harness to hook up your pet. For reference Bailey is 15lbs she’s a ween so her body is pretty long but she rides very comfortably in the basket so there’s enough room for small dogs under 15lbs. The design is nice however we did struggle to put it on my bike but that maybe because the bike I have is a little heavier and the bars are thicker than most. Otherwise it’s pretty easy to use we love being able to take Bailey out with us.

The Best Bike Basket!
I cannot say enough nice things about this basket. It is excellent quality, sturdy and very cute. We receive a lot of compliments when we are out and about. It is big enough to easily fit our 7 lb Maltese/Poodle mix and there is plenty of room if she were bigger. I did end up also getting the Solvit Wire Safety Cage after I ordered the basket, because I was afraid she would jump out and get injured. My husband did not think it was necessary and felt the little strap in the bottom of the basket was enough, but I was still afraid she would try to jump and end up hurling herself over the side and either strangle herself or fall to the ground. We have e-bikes, so we can get up to higher speeds and it could be dangerous if she went over the side. Many dogs may not need the cover, though. Our dog loves going for a ride and she loves the basket! With the safety cover, I can relax and be assured that she isn't going anywhere and is safe. The basket is also very deep, which increases the feeling of security for a little dog, at least. The lining is so soft and cozy. The basket is very easy to attach to the bike and to remove. I am very happy with the basket, the sunshade and the safety cover. I highly recommend each one. Maybe the best products I have ever purchased on Amazon. Thank you!

Great Basket - Horrible Hardware - Needs To Be Modified In OrderTo Use Safely
This basket is great in concept and workable and safe after some important modifications. The bracket that attaches it to the bicycle seems sturdy and well designed. The basket itself is well sized and comfortable for my dogs. (10 and 14 pounds) It's made of a plastic materiel woven around a wire metal frame. My only complaints are that, like others have noted, the metal clips that are attached to the nylon handlebar straps rub and wear against the O shaped key rings that they attach to. This rubbing causes the clip to break and suddenly unattached the basket from your handlebars. Once this happens you are one bump away from the whole basket with your pet in it, falling off of it's bracket. We have two of these baskets and have had clip failures on both of them. So this isn't a one off kind of thing. It's more likely a persistent failure mode with this basket. As several reviewers have encountered the same problem, the manufacturer should really consider a redesign of this clip.I ended up taking the advise of another reviewer and replacing the original clips, along with the original O shaped key rings from the basket, with two Mini Aluminum Carabiner Clips that are now directly attached to the basket. (I included pictures of this in my description.)1. First I removed the old clips from the nylon straps with a pair of wire cutters.2. I also removed O shaped key rings that the old clips attached to from the basket itself.3. I then threaded the new carabiner clips into the same seam pocket that currently holds the two D rings that are used to tie off the straps.4. I then clipped the new carabiner clips to the basket frame and reattached the straps to my handlebars. After about 100 miles of typical, slightly bumpy, city riding, this modification seems to be working and holding up well. I will update this review if I have any trouble in the future. All in all, I do like the basket and considering the other options available, I find this design to still be the best one. We ride our bikes quite a bit and I am slightly concerned about how the basket's materials will hold up under heavy use. Finally, after some consideration, I decided to reinforce the basket's attachment to my bike with several zip ties. I'm not sure that it really needed it but after having the clips fail I wanted to make sure that my dogs were safe from any further part failures. Here is a link to the Carabiner Clips I bought.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L6DMUKC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
