GZ502B All-In-One Video Security System (Black)

First off this review has NOTHING to do with the seller.. more of the product Guardzilla.STAY AWAY!!!1) If the unit is refurbished like this was you'll need to contact Guardzilla to remove the "Not Authorized user" error that comes up when setting it up. That was a headache because I was on hold for 40 min.. gave up and called back the next day when they open and provided the UID and they removed it from the previous owner's account.2) The Night vision doesn't work ... my fault for buying refurbished and this is what I get.. just a black screen at night. Emailed for support and nothing for the last 14 days.3) The app is terrible... You have to go in there to start recording and I set mine to record continuously... well after a full 24hrs I go to check the video and nothing.. the settings reset! I then do a hard reset and try again... same thing after a few hours... Not the SD card because I've tried multiple cards... definitely the unit4) Purchased another unit ( I guess I didn't learn my lesson the first time) This one the night vision and recording works great! When one of my dogs got into something at night I went to check the video and the freaking screen freezes after the first 30 second in night vision! Not to mention it creates 1 file every 5min... so I had to go through so many videos because I don't know what exact time the dog got into the mischief... I can hear him but can't see which dog it was. Useless.In all save your money, go with another company.. I'm going to try out the nest and see if that works better... just a crappy product. DO NOT BUY... you have been warned.

I purchased the Guardzilla after seeing one of my co-workers using it. I really like it. I have it located in my living room where I have two large glass doors that provide a lot of sunlight so my picture quality is very high. Even night vision is very clear. I have heard some of the clicking that another reviewer mentioned when the camera is adjusting from night vision to say vision, but it hasn't been significant enough to bother me.I saw Guardzilla on Amazon for $72 and didn't purchase it, I was still trying to decide...then decided the next day and the price was back to $99, so if you see it at a lower price don't hesitate! Purchase right away. I am an average computer user, not too high-tech, but was easily able to install the Guardzilla on my iPhone in a matter of minutes. I have noticed that my iPhone battery life is depleting a lot faster now, but I'm sure that is because of the frequency of me viewing the camera to see what cute little Fido is doing. The coverage area for the camera is pretty good, I can see the majority of the room easily, which is nice. I am planning on purchasing another one for another location in my home because this camera suits my needs very well. The price is right for my expectations of the camera!

A little difficult to set up without instructions. It works well. It seems to be a good monitor. The alarm feature should be a variable or warble tone. I don't hear that single frequency.

It took my iphone 6 ages to connect to its wifi. Once it did, I couldn't go past the 3rd step on the app.I called customer service and their phone was out of service.I called again a couple hours after and could talk to someone. He/She (seriously I couldn't tell which) told me to delete app, turn wifi off, turn wifi on, download app, delete app again, you can figure by yourself. Then on the middle of the call it went mute. I couldn't hear the person anymore so I hang up.Following his/her directios (he told me to, instead of setting up as the first time, go directly to add a new phone), I could manage to connect my phone. The thing is, it's not really useful for me. I wanted to use it to see whatever happened to my house when I'm away and I can't seem to know how to connect it to my home internet wifi. The siren feature is quite loud but so what, someone can turn it off easily by unplugging the device. So basically I could still use it as a baby monitor, but since it takes about 2 minutes for my phone to connect to the camera's wifi, there's no way I can manage that. Also my phone gets offline whenever I connect to its wifi, so not at all what I thought this would be.Anyway awful experience for me and I wouldn't tell anyone to buy this.

I bought two of these, mainly to use as monitors and intercoms for my kids while I'm away. They both work really well. I was surprised by how easy it was to set them up. The video quality is decent and the streaming video works well. The recorded video option is nice, as well. The app is a little unstable at times on my android, but killing it and re-starting clears up the problem.

Update as of 7/21/18Product still works great along with my other 3 units. Would like to buy another but the price has increased by $7. So I won’t be buying a 5th unit.This is my fourth. And I love it so far. I’m not sure how they got the price so low but I bought this for 1/2 the original price of one of these units from other vendors. And it was delivered the next days after placing the order.Easy setup if you have an existing system. I was up and running with this new unit within five minutes.I was a ltttle leary ordering from a new company on Amazon with no ratings, but they overmet my expectations so far. And it was ordered and fulfilled by Amazon.If the price stays this low, I will definitely order another one soon! Very happy and I recommend this company and product!

I like it and it works, but I have had to factory reset it a few times. The last time the LED light just started blinking green and I did not know why. You really do have to take your time when you set it t up. I really like not having to pay a security co every month too!
