Great beginners / occasional use board
Great board for the price. Yes it’s a foamy but unless you’re a seasoned experienced surfer then you’ll want to get the best chance of catching waves, and plenty of them. The volume is great in this board which means better buoyancy and makes it easier to catch waves earlier. Don’t read the negative reviews about it being made of foam, the clue is in the title...’beginners soft board FOAM Mini Mal’Used about 6 times over a number of weeks and so far so good. The board hasn’t come apart despite the beating I’ve given it! This is unlike another 8 ft board I purchased a few years ago where the top lining came away from the board exposing the foam after only 1 session. Nothing like this has happened on this quality board.Glad that I bought this. It’s a great board for me, a 50 year old surfer (that thinks he’s 25) and who weighs 15 stones.Get one, you won’t be disappointed.

nice board
bought this to move forward with learning as the 9ft foamy that i had was getting boring , this has plenty buoyancy for the size and managed to get waves after the first try, although it is quite big and fat it is manoeuvrable .. so should be fun till im ready to step down to next size as skill gets better . and for the price its very good

Awful quality. The foam damaged the first time I used it.
I've never left a negative review before, and feel really bad but unfortunately was left with no choice. Really, really bad quality. The foam damages so easily and the surface was coming off after one use. Contacted the seller who refused to honour the warranty and wouldn't take it back. I've had several foam boards, of varying quality but this was by far the worst. Ive never had straps on the roof rack damage the foam before, but this board the foam crumpled the first time I used it!! The sticker surface of the board also started peeling off after 1 use! DO NOT BUY. Such as waste of money, and seller refuses to honour the warrenty despite me using it once and contacting him immediately (only had it a week or two).Do not buy this board, you will regret it.

Great novice board.
The media could not be loaded. Great novice board, my son was even catching 1 foot waves (see vid). Lasted a week so far, brilliant 😁

Decent foamie board - some disappointing quality issues (see review)
Not a bad board to have in your quiver for those mini surf days. Not just a beginners board - can mean the difference between surfing or not on really small days. Few niggles with the board but overall not bad for the money. See photos for issues: (1) Small square puncture to side of board - sealed easily enough. (2) Leash tie had been cut, so had to replace. (3) Fins were warped like a dog's back leg - ordered some replacements for under a tenner. All things that should've been picked up on a quality check. Disappointing.

Absolute quality
Fantastic beginner board, tons of volume so is perfect for beginners but also very light and comparitively slim (compared to surf school boards). It will be useful as a spare board for flatter waves/tiny days, or if you have friends or relatives over for a sesh, even after you progress onto something a bit more "proper".Looks cool too without being gaudy or tacky.A note of caution: there are no instructions, but re. the fins, line them up next to each other and check the sizes, one is bigger and goes in the middle/rear. The fin bolts are different sizes, because of how the board tapers where the fins attach so again, eye them up and fit accordingly, the longer screws go through the fatter part of the board. The leash is top quality, the included wax is a nice touch and smells delicious (don't eat it though...).To add, just found out (a week later) that the leash strap, on the ankle wrap has a small "key pocket" to stash your spare car key or whatever, which is great as I was about to engineer a solution to not having anywhere to leave my car key, which is a common problem (all my valuables stay hidden/locked in the car). I will be having a spare car key made that just unlocks the door and it will go in there. Bonus! This 8' board, amazingly, fits perfectly in a 4 door fiat panda.(Updated)Some budget foamies are prone to delamination and lose their buoyancy, this seems fine after numerous heavy sessions. excellent!

Fab foam board!
Fantastic board for beginners like me. Its big feels sturdy and lots of float to help catch the waves.Excellent communication with the supplier, when needed.

Over-branded but alright
The manufacturers price their board into heaven, and I wouldn't say it lives up to its claims. But not bad either and sure worth the modest price. The board felt a bit wobbly for a beginners board (surfing schools generally have wider boards I think) and the deck is quite slippery (definitely not the non-waxing surface they claim), but I guess this I why it comes with the wax and waxing might solve this.
