Favorite new tool!!!
I needed to cut off thick toilet bolts, fence screws, and farm shed nails, therefore did my research to find the the best tool to complete these tasks easily. After some investigation, i learned about the oscilating tool and decided to buy the KIMO brand!!! Boy, this tool rocks!!! It eats up all the screws and nails with no problem. I love how easy it is to use and the variable speed. Compare to other name brands, this KIMO tool is a powerhorse! Some people mentioned they have battery issues. I just want to say the battery life is fine and I never had to use the 2nd battery provided in the kit. Overall, I am impressed with the KIMO Oscilating tool! It has become one of my favorite Home Improvement tools! I look forward to use all the other accessories. For the price point, this item is totally worth it!

A hidden jem in the oscillating power tool jungle.
Heavy duty versatile tool! This tool is NOT a cheap piece of junk as it's oscillating head is of heavy metal construction and the battery attaches to very firmly. It was supplied with an assortment of cutting blades, from light steel cutting and wood cutting to sanding and tile removal blades. It also comes with a battery and charger of which competitors charge much extra for. I have an oscillating power tool from a competitor and it is totally junk compared to this one...and this is of a name brand and comparable power! Now, I had never heard of KIMO power tools before but they seem to be a decent manufacturer of tools as from my limited exposure to them. The only thing that was slightly out of place was the LED circuit for the light, yes it works fine and brightly, just a little more care could have been used during it's construction. In conclusion, I find the oscillating power tool and kit a well made sturdy tool that I am glad I bought and would recommend it to others to give it a try.

A solid reliable tool for the home handyman at a really good price
Hadn't bought or used a multitool before but I liked the idea of them. Didn't want to pay a premium cost so picked the KIMO which seemed a reasonable product at a very good price. So the KIMO 20V cordless multitool arrived with battery, charger, a good range of accessories and a carry bag. I've now done a few small repair jobs around the house using the tool - scraped back, patched and repainted some interior wall patches, did a couple of sanding and resealing jobs on some old furniture and have practiced cutting wood and PVC. So now I reckon I'm fairly familiar with the tool s - and in my opinion:Would I buy a multitool again? Absolutely, it is really convenient and fast and surprising easy to use.Is the KIMO 20V cordless multitool worth buying? Its solid in the hand which makes it comfortable to use. Noise and vibration weren't a problem and it worked great for me. So Yes I think it was a good buy and recommend it for the home handyman like me.How about the battery? I haven't had it run down while using it yet so battery life seems fine for me. I must say it recharges quite quickly - less than an hour. I guess it would be nice to have a spare battery though. How does it operate? It took me a little while to stop forcing the cutting and scraping and just relax the pressure and let the tool go at its own pace - then it really operated well. I also find it convenient that I can set the angle of the various blades to make it more comfortable to operate.I really like this product and am now looking for more to do with it.

I just keep buying Kimo tools!
I don’t even know what number this is anymore! 4,5,6? Anytime I need a new power tool first thing I do is look to see if it is available from Kimo! I have yet to be disappointed. This oscillating tool is no exception. I decided to go cordless and replace my corded oscillator. So first step does Kimo have one? Sure enough, search over. You can’t beat the prices on Kimo products and the quality is amazing! In addition the features…I’m in awe! The quick changeable head is next level! My old tool required an Allen wrench every time I needed to change. My old tool didn’t have a speed adjustment, the Kimo has a very nice speed adjustment wheel! Finally it has a led light to illuminate the area immediately in front of the tool. I could not be happier!Additionally it uses the same style 20v batteries that my other Kimo tools use so I have spare batteries and chargers available. Only thing left to figure out is what else do I need and does Kimo have it available? Kimo will continue to be my first choice when looking for power tools!

Poor battery life
Cuts ok but the battery life is super short. Cutting thru cedar shake for window shims. 3 pieces per window. Only made thru 8 windows. The price was too good to be true.If you have 3 batteries you would be ok. I don't cut anything softer than cedar shake.

Great buy and perfect for the beginner DIY
I like to think I have a lot of tools yet I have never owned one of the oscillating tools at all. With the start of a kitchen remodel I knew I was going to need to purchase a few electric tools to make the job easier. After already purchasing a Kimo 20V Nail Gun I was impressed and wanted to add to the set. This way I could utilize same batteries and chargers. The packaging was great and well handled. The tool came with a great carrying/storage bag, a multitude of usefully heads and the same standard charger and battery pack as their other tools. After using it for some counter top removal, trim cutting, tile/grout removal and simple trimming I fell in love with it and questioned why I never bout an oscillating tool yet. I purchased some other head pieces at Lowes and this tool is designed to accept most (if not all) common style heads/blades and sanding ends. This tool has been extremely useful and the battery life amazing. I highly recommend purchasing this if you are a beginner DIY looking for quality tools at an affordable price. I will definitely be purchasing more tools from KIMO to add to my collection.
