Product either stopped working or is draining the batteries when not in use. It went dead after a week of using it for perhaps 10 minutes total. I've replaced the batteries twice with Duracells and initially it worked then a week later it was dead when I needed it. I'm not willing to replace them again just to see if they will again go dead. Unit was used once after each replacement just to take my trash out then shut off and put on a shelf. Very disappointing.Updated my review . Manufacturer refunded my money without me even asking after my one star review. To me, that is exceptional customer service and worth a few stars. I am sure it works fine for others and I just got a bad item. It happens.

The light output on this unit is insane. Super bright and excellent distribution, much better than the Maglite mini I have as comparison. The unit ran for 4 hours straight on the included AAA cells with no issues (it could've gone longer but I got tired of waiting). It does got warm, but nothing to be alarmed with. The red light is a nice touch - perfect for preserving your night vision. I would've liked to see a dedicated button for each light color, instead of relying on long presses.Downside - The clamshell pack did introduce some frustration, I wish it was just a paper based box.

I received the product and the light works and is okay as a headlamp. Time will tell if it lasts. Already the plastic hinge that opens/closes the battery compartment doesn't want to stay shut. Kind of a minor problem. Also they ship the package with the head strap not already attached to the light compartment. So this is something that the buyer has to do upon arrival. Not overly tedious, but should have been done by the manufacturer. 3 AAA batteries come with the unit, so that is a bonus at least.

This little light works extremely perfect, for mechanical repairs, it saved my life last night I started to work in my p/u truck in a sunny afternoon. it was supposed to be a small task but as always the unexpected showed up. And it became a major problem due to a rusted bolt. And it got dark and darker, luckily I've placed the order of this nice product a week earlier. And it was delivered much faster than anticipated. But when I saw the little thing with the triple A batteries I said no way I've been ripped I'll return this item, to my surprise when I turned the light on! It was so bright that I had to use in lower set. I'm so happy with my purchase. I'll order another one to keep it in my comercial trucks.

I spend a lot of time outdoors running, hiking, biking, etc. and this headlamp is the perfect addition to my adventures especially as the days are getting shorter. It's super lightweight and bright, and the textured strap stays on my head well. I love that there are 3 different brightness settings as well as the red light option for animal watching and an SOS strobe feature. In fact, this product was clearly designed with safety in mind- it even has a built-in whistle in the headband! I couldn't believe it was less than half the price of all the other headlamps out there, even while doing a better job of living up to its expectations and more.

This headlamp worked great for months. I am light user of this product. I would wear it around the house instead of turning on lights or night time walks around the neighborhood. The bright light setting was my preferred mode and for months it worked great. Then it work turn off when it was bumped or if it moved. If I turned the light on and placed it gently on a table, the light would stay on. However if I picked it up, the light would turn off. On my head, forget it, it turned off immediately.At first, I thought this was a battery issue until I tried the low light setting. On the low light, the product worked just like it used to. It is quite disappointing because I really did like this product.Spend your money on a better head lamp.

Top notch product. I still consider myself fairly novice mountaineer but this headlamp has held its own against the slew of the tried and true. This was just what I was looking for and on top of that, the seller was very responsive when I had a relatively particular question about the product. The LEDs are surprisingly energy effiicient, especially compared to the products I've owned in the past (halogen mostly). I've been a longer term road biker and without a doubt, this lamp has earned its keep; The low batt feature is a nice touch as well.

Great price for a multi-functional headlamp. I like the four-setting option, including the red beam. The headband stretches out and gets wavy, but the functionality is GREAT. Note: After you turn it off, the next time you turn it on, it will be at the last setting you left it on.
