Good tongs. They do what they are supposed to do.

These tongs split (the silicone covering, that is) after not a whole lot of use. I had other tongs that I got around the same time, used equally as much, and they're still in perfect condition. Don't waste your money!

They don't spring open. First time use they don't spring open after undoing lock mechanism. There is a metal grating sound, which leads me to believe they are made from cheap metal that warps. The metal around the spring has warped that they do not open. Again, these have not been used yet, or left outside, or put through the wash, they just don't work.

I love these tongs. The silicone tips are perfect for non-stick pans. They make turning food items super easy. The pull ring to close them up when not in use is brilliant. And they are the perfect length for use in the kitchen as well as storage in a drawer.

Best Tongs I ever bought. They work great when I cook bacon or frying chicken. They wash up quickly and I just like the pull tab at the end that keeps they closed for easy storing in my draw in my kitchen.

I've had these a while now. Love them. Just what you need to use on delicate surfaces. I threw away all of my others.
