Ellie and the Truth about the Tooth Fairy Hardcover – Picture Book, April 1, 2014

I bought this for my granddaughter's first tooth. She loved the sparkly illustrations. I loved the story line.

The illustrations in this very cute story are just beautiful!Children will enjoy this story about Ellie and the Tooth Fairy and my even believe it!A great way to teach them to take care of their teeth!

Perfect for the upcoming "tooth event"!

Absolutely fantastic! The story captures those teeny tiny minds so easily. I read this book to my class of 6 & 7 year olds, and they enjoyed using the story to create their own tooth fairy adventure. The children were in awe of the illustrations, asking how do people draw like that! I left the book out for them to read during own choice time and I observed even the boys helping themselves to a second reading! It lead to a great discussion about how to keep our teeth healthy and clean... which linked to science very nicely :-) We all decided that we would now like a gold sparkly tooth brush!

The illustrations in this book are absolutely gorgeous. There were so many things for my children to discover and discuss (including the cute little bird hiding away on each page). We spent ages poring over every page and pointing out all the different things to each other. The story was enchanting and endearing - and led to a big discussion at bedtime about looking after our teeth. Definitely a book that will be looked at over and over and over again in our house - and one that will be treasured for many years to come.

I love this story full of adventure and clever ideas to really make children think. I would buy this book for the illustrations alone, wonderful patterns, colours and so much detail and little points of interest to really capture the imagination of curious little heads. A charming and magical book - the sparkly bits were a particular favourite with my children. Also good for encouraging children to brush their teeth, but in a subtle way.

Love this book! Anyone know where you can find a gold toothbrush? Now my daughter is expecting one! Thanks in advance.
