Very easy to make with wonderful flavor.
Loved this product. Easy to make and just add shrimp or chicken, make rice as side dish or add it after you have finished making etouffe.

Quick and easy!
By the time I crave crawfish etouffee, I become STARVING for it! I love this because it's so easy and quick. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because it does take a little of doctoring up to do, in my opinion.Cooking it following the directions to a tee leaves you with a mild, slightly Cajuny base. It's still good, it's just not what I'm looking for. I do end up chopping up some yellow onions, green bell peppers, and garlic (celery is fine too, but my family doesn't really like it). As far as spices go, I make sure to have cajun seasoning, black pepper, ground white pepper, and smoked paprika to give it that spice depth. I also flavored the broth with Totole brand chicken soup base powder, although I am sure that seafood broth or chicken broth would work excellently. The instructions don't state this but do make sure whatever seafood you're using is thawed out. If you're using frozen crawfish tails, do make sure to to incorporate the liquid for that extra flavor!

Very flavorful, easy to make...I'm a chronic re-purchaser.
This review is for the Louisana Fish Fry Cajun Etouffee Mix.I great up in the south. I love Cajun food....but I moved to Maryland and it's impossible to find locally. This Mix is awesome though! I can adjust the spicy heat by adding a bit more or a bit less water. It's SUPER easy to make, just don't overcook at the beginning.I make this with shrimp, a few handfuls for onions/peppers and serve over rice. It's a regular in our dinner rotation.10/10 recommend!
