That is why Vinpower joined with Verbatim to offer the professional Gold standard grade 4x BD-R LTH Gold duplication quality media using the top of the line AZO dye. These discs provide the greatest compatibility amongst writer drives and players (both old and new). That means, because of the AZO dye, the 4x BD-R LTH Gold is far less likely to fail during the duplication process. That is true regardless of the recording drive used, which will give it a much greater rate of playback, regardless of the type and age of the player. Additionally, the AZO dye does not degrade like the less expensive versions used in most other common recordable medias, so that means that the content stored on the discs will be readable far longer than those less expensive discs.

Bubble spots all over disk after recording movies
These disks are terrible for recording movies. I got them because of the cheap price and the Verbatim name, but I was wrong. I have another pack of Verbatim disks that are not gold colored, but are the classic silver grey and they work great. I am not sure if these are fake Verbatims or what, but after I burn movies, almost half of the disks end up with small bubble spots all over the surface, which cause massive skipping when you watch it. I believe these are a very large bad batch of manufaturing. I got two 50 packs and regret purchasing them. I obviously do not recommend these. I have burned several of the same badly burned movies using other disks and had no bubble spots, so it's not my burner.

Very good value!
I bought a pack of these Vinpower Verbatim blank BD-Rs when I purchased my LG BH14NS40 Blu-Ray burner and they work fantastic! no issues making back up copies of my Blu-Ray discs

More than half duds
After updating firmware for my burner a few discs burned.Rest of them made pretty gold coasters. Buyer beware not good at all.

Would be better without the Verbatim stamp
I keep looking for quality Blu-ray disks I can print on, and thought these would be the ones. However when I look at the top of the disks I am quite disappointed to see that there is an imprint on the top that says Verbatim.I could understand if it was on the clear bit in the middle, but it's on the white printable area. Not cool at all.

LTH Blu-ray discs degrade over few months to a point where data is corrupted and unreadable. Read the reviews. LTH technology uses DVD equipment to cut on manufacturing costs. Unfortunately it does not work. The recordable layer degrades within weeks. LTH are safe ONLY if you need to store data for just a few days. Expect to loose all your data after few months.
