CHICKADEE WHITE Aromatherapy Essential Oil Fragrance Small Ceramic Jar Clay Pot Diffuser

I really love this little jar, it's a great alternative to chemical-filled air fresheners for my car. I just put some essential oils in there and the smell lasts a good while. It's also cost efficient because a little oil goes a long way; and also because I can change up the oils I use. I did have to change the ribbon out for a little chain in order to hang it from my rearview mirror, but that was very easy to do.

Doesn't work as well as other terracotta diffusers I've had in the past. I have to almost overfill it to get any scent, which barely lasts in my four door sedan. I've tried several oils, thinking it was the strength of the oil that mattered. Would not buy again.

This diffuser jar is really cute, but doesn't diffuse as easily as I'd assumed for such a simple design. I added 20 drops of Sweet Orange Essential Oil as instructed. I had it in my car for over a week and I couldn't smell the oil at all unless I held the top half of the jar right up against my nose. I tried again, using twice as much oil this time, and the scent was overpowering and stank up my car. My friends were asking why my car smelled so overly orangey and gagging. I had to keep the jar outside in my backyard until the smell wore off because it was so strong! Even with the jar gone, it took a week for the smell to leave my car. Guess I should have increased the drops in smaller doses instead of jumping straight to double, eh?I ended up picking up a lava bead bracelet and an unglazed clay necklace on Etsy instead, that way I can just put a single drop of my oils on my jewelry and smell good wherever I go without worrying about whether my car is gonna be unscented or unbearably so!Note: I know this says it's intended for hanging from your rearview mirror, but I would recommend keeping this in a cup holder like I did instead. If you have to hit your brakes, it could potentially whip forward and crack your windshield.

These bottles are great. I have one in my kitchen and one in my bathroom. I would recommend putting them on a small coaster or teeny bowl, because the scented oil can seep out onto the surface.
