Full Circle Fresh Air Biodegradable Compost Bags, 2.5 Gallon / 25 Count, Original Scent

We have been using this product for about a year. It is not with out issues. The first being that if you put a of wet items in the compost the bag may develop leaks before its full. The other is that once added to your compost be sure to keep it buried in the compost to speed the break down of the bag material. It it's kept dry or exposed to air it takes much longer to decompose.

Does leak after a few days. Works great if changed every couple of days.

Not as large as advertised. Otherwise okay. The whole box weights 3.52 oz. You can buy a box of 150 1.2 gallon compost bags here on Amazon. That product weights about 22 oz. So those bags weigh the same per bag as these. I suspect they are the same size as these as well, i.e. that these bags are half the size it says they are on the box.

These are sturdy and the correct size.

Like them for the most part except they rip fast and to small for my can I would love 5 gallons

They leak, they don't keep the smells inside and I'm double bagging. So sorry.

I find the quality of these to be very hit or miss. I've had a roll of bags work really, really well, staying sturdy for a week or so until they need to be composted. But my last batch have started to decompose after just a day or so, leaking stuff all over the counter. My first batch - the ones that came with the composter - were already biodegrading and were impossible to open without tearing. It seems as if you have to find these at just the right point in their life cycle. But, when they're working correctly, they work very well. The whole system is quite brilliant. It doesn't stink a bit and it really has got us composting just about everything we can. I just wish the bags were more reliable.

I love that these bags compost so well, but don’t plan on stocking up too many at once. I bought 4 boxes last year not knowing how many we would go through and I opened a new box last week and they had already started breaking down. I tried to open one up to put in the container and it just ripped apart in quite a few pieces. Tried 10-12 bags and all the same. Recycled them and bought a fresh box. All is good now. I have had no problem leaving a bag in container for a weeks time and still able to carry out to compost with no problem. I peel directly into container so pieces are not soaked from water in sink.

Las bolsas son pequeñas pero de buena calidad. En general, estoy satisfecha con el producto, sin embargo, me molesto que vinieran protegidas por tanto plástico por el servicio de paquetería. La intención de hacer una compra así es reducir el impacto ambiental y el hecho de que la envoltura sea tal me hace pensar qué tiene más impacto en el medio ambiente.

Me encantaron las bolsas, son muy resistentes considerando que las uso para restos de frutas, verduras y cascarones. Resisten la humedad sin filtrarla. El tamaño es perfecto para mi (vivo sola) las pongo como forro de un bote pequeño, las mantengo libre de olores añadiendo cada dia un poco de bicarbonato, Con ayuda de una pinza de ropa mantengo la bolsa cerrada cuando no está en uso. Como compacto la basura me duran tres o cuatro días antes de saturarse y desecharlas. Son caras para mi pero las aprovecho al máximo y confío en la garantía de que el material de verdad compostable. Lo digo porque hay muchas bolsas en el mercado que son de plástico normal y solo les imprimen unas hojitas verdes o les ponen “Bio” y pretenden hacerlas pasar por biodegradables!
