HQ 32x21 Flight Bird Cage & Stand for Finch & Small Birds-Pure White

I was looking for the largest bird cage I could afford for my budgies. It also had to be white. This cage is beautiful, and it's very strongly built. The last cage I had was pretty decent, but this one is made with heavier gauge wire.At first, I purchased this model cage in platinum from a pet store. I returned it, because the "platinum" color is actually light gray. I wanted a white cage, and the HQ "Pure White" is just that, pure white. Not all stores that sell these HQ cages carry the Pure White. The finish is smooth and glossy, and it looks like it will last forever and be very easy to clean. I like that the bottom tray is white too.The cage arrived in near-perfect condition; there were a few small chips or skips in the finish, but nothing else was bent or damaged. It was pretty easy to assemble from the little diagram. I did discover that once I assembled the cage, it was too heavy to lift onto the cart. I ended up removing the front and the top of the cage, and then I lifted the three sides onto the cart and finished assembling the cage on the cart.The two front doors are very large, and they have strong turn latches which no bird could unlock. There is a breeder box door on each side at the top. The breeder doors latch loosely and should be zip-tied or twist-tied as they are easy to open. The perches and food dishes that are included are okay, but I don't need them.The only minor inconvenience is that none of the doors is suitable to hang a birdbath on, so it's sitting on the bottom of the cage. Also, the cage is so tall that I have a hard time clipping greens to the ceiling of the cage. These are truly minor issues. If you're looking for a large sturdy cage, I recommend this one. My birds seem to like it just fine too.

I had this delivered to a friend in the U.S. since I live in Canada, and I just received it today. I assembled it myself, which wasn't terribly difficult but it would have probably been less awkward with a second set of hands. It comes with illustrated instructions (no text) and it was hard to make out some of the details in the pictures to see which way some pieces went, but it was still easy enough to figure out in the end. They supplied a few extra screws, which is much appreciated if you happen to misplace one during assembly. The quality of the cage is very good and it's very spacious. It's very sturdy and although I'm only using it for Barbary doves, I would feel just as comfortable housing a small to medium sized parrot in it. The latches on the doors are a nice feature and the nest box doors are a good idea, though I would have liked to see them with a sturdier latch as well (I just clipped each of them shut with a small dog leash clip for good measure). One of the nest doors was actually a bit warped when I opened the box (the door was open and one of the side panels was laying on top of it) but it was easy enough to bend back into shape with some pliers. Other than that everything is perfect. My doves are going to love it!

I got this cage ten months ago. The quality is very good and it is easy to roll from place to place. I love that it has two doors. I use the bottom one for changing out food and water. The birds come in and out the top. I don't think they've figured out that they could sneak out the bottom door while I am doing things in the cage.I have two cockatiels and a budgie in the cage and it seems to be lots of space for them. I love the flat top. I put toys up there for them during the day, and they hang out there most of the time.I initially got the platinum, but felt it was too gray. I exchanged it for the pure white, which is lovely.It cleans up easily.

This was a great investment at a great price.This item did not come with written directions, only a picture. It arrived "BRAND NEW" and in great condition.It only took me 15 minutes to put it together which was amazing.You can put severalfinches together in this cage as it has lots of room. Plus its lightweight so you can "wheel it" anywhere in your home or outdoors. The best part is that it has a "slide out grate and slide out tray" which makes cleaning so very easy and quick to do.The BIRDS love there new home:)I did buy some separate feed cups to hang inside the cage, as I like to give my birds a variety to choose from.

I purchased this cage and am happy with the quality of the materials it is made of. The cage was easy to assemble except the stand instructions were just a picture which was hard to see the detail-so we had to take it apart several times. I thought the nesting openings on each side were going to be larger-they are only large enough for finch size birds not parrotlets or bourkes nesting boxes. The cage arrived quickly in excellent condition.

It arrived in great shape, packed well. The cage went together easily even though it would have been easier with better instructions.I love it and am excited to house my two budgies in it.

I am very happy with this cage and my 4 budgies are loving it. It is easy to change food/water bowls and the slide out grate and tray make it easy to clean. It is pretty well constructed, about what I expected for the price. The only drawback is that it did not come with any instructions for putting it together but after looking at the picture, we were able to figure it out fairly quickly. I would recommend this cage.
