Seachem MultiTest - Marine pH/Alkalinity - 75 Tests

This kit is very small but I found it very easy to use and tested it against two other kits and the results were identical. The bottles are very small but I had a tiny little box to set them all in. You do have to use pipettes but I have a chemistry background so that was no problem for me. A dropper for both tests would have been nice. I like using the little tray because I can test multiple aquariums back to back without having to wash out test tubes.For the money I think this was a great buy and am very happy with it.

I bought this test kit looking for a quick alkalinity test that might be a little better than API but not super accurate, just something simple for daily use. I also have a red sea kit but it isn't as simple as the API kit and is really too accurate. This kit is far from easy to use.You don't get a container for all of the pieces, so they are hard to keep track of. You don't get a nice little dropper bottle for the reagent, just a glass bottle and a little pipette. You have to use another pipette to draw sample water and dispense it into this tiny little tray that you then have to dispense reagent into and stir it with a tiny plastic stick.... Clearly not a convenient test. The PH test has a cheesy sliding paper thing to match up colors. Buy API kits, or Red Sea if you want quality.

A little more involved than simple drops type test but more accurate for that reason. Have lab verified and it is spot on

I find myself not comfortable with the results from this kit so I bought another one. The results from both do not match. It isn't a major difference but with this price one would not expect pinpoint accuracy.
